What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SHENLEY ROAD, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Shenley Road, Hemel Hempstead from its southernmost junction with Parr Crescent north westwards to its junction with Cuffley Court, a distance of approximately 70 m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Shenley Road, B487 Redbourn Road and Shenley Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE A41 EASTBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO A41 TRING INTERCHANGE, WIGGINTON) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the A41 eastbound slip road leading onto A41 Tring Interchange, Wigginton from its junction with the eastbound carriageway of A41 Tring Bypass north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with A41 Tring Interchange, a distance of approximately 447m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A41 (unnamed road), A416 Chesham Road and A41 (unnamed road/Tring Interchange).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WESTWICK ROW, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Westwick Row, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Handpost Lodge Gardens south eastwards for a distance of approximately 150m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Westwick Row, Green Lane, A4147 (Leverstock Green Road/Hemel Hempstead Road) and Westwick Row.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHESHAM ROAD, WIGGINTON) ORDER NO.2 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Chesham Road, Wigginton from its junction with Heath End north westwards to its junction with Beech Park, a distance of approximately 608m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Chesham Road, The Vale, Hawridge Common, Cholesbury Lane, Cholesbury Road and Chesham Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FROGMORE STREET, TRING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Frogmore Street, Tring from its junction with Parsonage Place north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Frogmore Street, B4635 High Street, Christchurch Road, Friars Walk and Frogmore Street.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF KINGS LANE, CHIPPERFIELD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Kings Lane, Chipperfield from its junction with Chapel Croft south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with The Street, a distance of approximately 449m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Chapel Croft and The Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN JOCKETTS ROAD, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Jocketts Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Chaulden Terrace north westwards to its junction with Cuttsfield Terrace, a distance of approximately 122m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Jocketts Road, Northridge Way, Long Chaulden and Jocketts Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MAPLE HILL, BOVINGDON) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Maple Hill, Bovingdon from a point 116m south west of its junction with Shantock Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 55m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Maple Hill, Bovingdon Road, The Green, Botley Road, B4505 (Lye Green Road/Orchard Leigh/Rushmere Lane/Chesham Road), Leyhill Road, Pudds Cross and Maple Hill.
The Order is needed because water service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 19 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN LEVERSTOCK GREEN ROAD, LEVERSTOCK GREEN) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Leverstock Green Road, Leverstock Green from its junction with Vauxhall Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 55m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Leverstock Green Road, A414 St Albans Road, A4147
(Maylands Avenue/Swallowdale Lane), High Street Green and Leverstock Green Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FELDEN LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER NO.2 2023 NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Felden Lane, Hemel Hempstead from a point in line with the southern boundary of ‘Hillside’ north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 100m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Felden Lane, Featherbed Lane, A4251 London Road and Felden Lane.
The Order is needed because gas service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 September 2023 for a
period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS IN B4505 BOX LANE, BOVINGDON) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 40mph on that length of B4505 Box Lane, Bovingdon from a point 240m south west of its junction with Bushfield Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1015m (“the Road”).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made shall come into force on 19 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions in parts of Berkhamsted as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
