What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14

THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(ROAD FROM HIGHER METCOMBE TO METCOMBE RISE &

METCOMBE VALE, METCOMBE) ORDER 2023

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order.

From 11/10/23 for a maximum of 18 months.

Anticipated Finish 20/10/23.

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: Road from Higher Metcombe to Metcombe Rise & Metcombe Vale, Metcombe,

(From the junction near Greenlands Farm to the junction with Tipton Vale)

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Road past Sextons Cottage, road from primary school to St Georges, road past Bowhayes Farm, road through Venn Ottery, road past Happy Valley, B3180, road from Tipton Cross to Heathlands Cross, road heading southeast from Heathlands Cross, road from Higher Metcombe to Metcombe Rise.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Drainage & Patching.
