Stirling - Multiple Road Closures to Facilitate Public Utility Works

What is happening?

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Barnton Street / Princes Street, Stirling) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2023 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 8-9-23

This Order will suspend the parking on:

Barnton Street On the east side thereof from a point adjacent to No 56 Barnton Street in a southerly direction for a distance of 55 metres or thereby; On the east side thereof from a point adjacent to No 2 Barnton Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 30 metres or thereby; On the west side thereof from the junction of Princes Street in a southerly direction to a point adjacent to No’s 11-19 Barnton Street, and;

Princes Street The parking layby on the south side thereof from the junction with Barnton Street in a westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres or thereby from 0930 hours until 1800 hours on 1-10-23 to facilitate Public Utility works.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Pirnhall Road, Stirling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 8-9-23.

This Order will close:

Pirnhall Road From its junction with the A872 to its junction with the A91 from 0800 hours until 1800 hours from 2-10-23 until 6-10-23 to facilitate Public Utility works.

Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: via A872, A91 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Abbey Road / Cooperage Quay, Stirling) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2023 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 8-9-23.

This Order will suspend the parking on:

Abbey Road The parking layby on the north side thereof between the junction of Meadow Place and Riverside Drive, from a point adjacent to No 29 Abbey Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 25 metres or thereby, The parking layby on the north side thereof between the junction of Meadow Place and Riverside Drive, from a point 18 metres or thereby west of the eastern end of the layby in a westerly direction for a distance of 20 metres or thereby, On the south side thereof in the parking layby between the junction of Meadow Place and Cooperage Quay, On the south side thereof in the parking layby between the junction of Cooperage Quay and Abbey Mill, Cooperage Quay On the west side thereof from the junction with Abbey Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 50 metres or thereby, On the east side there from the junction with Abbey Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 40 metres or thereby from 0930 hours until 1800 hours on 29-9-23 to facilitate Public Utility works.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Huntly Crescent, Raploch, Stirling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 8-9-23.

This Order will close: Huntly Crescent From its junction with Raploch Road to the junction with Waulker Avenue from 0930 hours until 1800 hours on 5-10-23 to facilitate Public Utility works.

Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: via Huntly Crescent, Glendevon Drive, Back O’Hill Road, Raploch Road and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (C9 / C64, nr Plean) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic - Extension) Order 2023 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 8-9-23.

This Order will close:
C9 From its junction with the A872 to its junction with the C64 (local access only), and; C64 From its junction with the C9 to its junction with the A9 - Main Street from 0800 hours until 1800 hours from 14-9-23 until 22-9-23 to facilitate BT works.

Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: via A9, East Plean Road, C9. C64, A872 and vice versa
