PARKING/WAITING AMENDMENTS IN ESKDALE AVENUE, GIBBON ROAD AND SOMERSET ROAD

The Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 886) Order 2023
The Ealing (Acton Central - Zones K and K1) (Residents Parking Places) (Amendment No. 31) Order 2023

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, on 12th September 2023 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be to remove lengths of permit holder parking place in Gibbon Road to allow for access to Manette Gardens.

3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment Order will be to impose waiting restrictions that would apply at any time in the lengths of roads described in the Schedule to this Notice.

4. The Orders, which will come into operation on 14th September 2023, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including a plans, are available by e-mail from trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 24th October 2023.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by the 24th October 2023.

Eskdale Avenue
the north-east side, between a point 6 metres north-west of the north-western side of the access to Carisbrooke Court and a point 6 metres south-east of the south-eastern side of the access to Carisbrooke Court.

Gibbon Road, Acton
(a) the north-east and south-east sides, between a point 10.00 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Manet Gardens and its north-eastern extremity;

(b) the south-west and north-west sides, between a point 12.00 metres south-west of the north-eastern wall of No. 113 Western Avenue and its north-eastern extremity. Somerset Road, Southall

(a) the north-west side, between Its junction with Lady Margaret Road and a point 28 metres east of the western kerb-line of Lady Margaret Road;

(b) the south-east side, between Its junction with Lady Margaret Road and the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Somerset Road.
