Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

A225 EYNSFORD ROAD, EYNSFORD. DA4 0BP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A225 Eynsford Road, Eynsford, on or after 24th September 2023 for up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Fairbank.

The alternative route is via A225 Eynsford Road, A20 London Road/Gorse Hill/London Road, A20 Wrotham Heath Roundabout/London Road, A25 Maidstone Road/Sevenoaks Road/Borough Green Road/Ightham Bypass/Sevenoaks Road/Maidstone Road/High Street/Seal Road, A225 Otford Road/Sevenoaks Road/Station Road/Shoreham Road/Station Road/High Street/Eynsford Road and vice versa.

B269 POOTINGS ROAD, CROCKHAM HILL. TN8 6SF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of SES water and Openreach connections, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B269 Pootings Road, Crockham Hill, on or after 18th September 2023 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Bywood.

The alternative route is via B2042 Ide Hill Road, B2027 Four Elms Road, B2026 Station Road/Main Road, B269 Spout Lane and vice versa.

BRASTED HILL, BRASTED (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Westerham Cycling Club Event

Kent County Council has made an Order for the safety of the public whilst an event is being held on the highway to temporarily prohibit the use of Vehicles on:-

Brasted Hill, Brasted between The Nower and Pilgrims Way.

The alternative route is via The Nower and Pilgrims Way.

The Order will become effective on 24 September 2023 between 10.00hrs and 11.00hrs. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs in operation.

Nothing in the Order will apply to:
• Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.
• Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.
• Anything done with the permission or at the direction of Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.

PARK GATE ROAD, ORPINGTON. BR6 7QA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of repair and maintenance works by National Grid, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Gate Road, Orpington, on or after 18th September 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.15hrs and 16.45hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Chestnut Cottage.

The alternative route is via Well Hill, Rock Hill, Hawstead Lane, Bucks Cross Road, Skibbs Lane, Skeet Hill Lane and vice versa.

SUNDRIDGE ROAD, IDE HILL. TN14 6JU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sundridge Road, Ide Hill, on or after 23rd September 2023 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Norman Street House and Great Norman Street Cottages.

The alternative route is via Emmetts Lane, Toys Hill, B2042 Green Lane/Ide Hill Road, Ide Hill Road from B2042 Ide Hill Road to Ide Hill Road, Ide Hill Roundabout to Wheatsheaf Hill, Ide Hill Roundabout and vice versa.

UCKFIELD LANE, HEVER. TN8 7LN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Uckfield Lane, Hever, on or after 20th September 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Chippens Lane and Pigdown Lane.

The alternative route is via Uckfield Lane, Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Stick Hill/Hartfield Road/Mill Hill, Hever Road and vice versa.
