What is happening?

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – 

SECTION 14(1) (Weetwood Lane, Weetwood) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for CityFibre build works, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:-No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along the following locations at any time when coning is in place: 1. Weetwood Lane, Weetwood, Leeds in the Weetwood Ward between its junctions with Otley Road and Moor Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Otley Road, Shaw Lane, Moor Road and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. Monday 18th September 2023 between 09:30 and 15:30 hrs on each day and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.  The works are expected to be completed by Friday 29th September 2023. (Burley Lodge Terrace, Hyde Park) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Parking) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) to carry out footway works, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:-No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park in the restricted sections at any time when coning is in place: 1. Burley Lodge Terrace, Hyde Park, Leeds in the Little London Woodhouse ward between its junctions with Chiswick Street and Woodsley Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate: a. between 08:00 and 17:00 hrs from Monday to Friday starting Monday 18th September 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Wakefield Road, Swillington, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) to allow for the Highway maintenance works of the footway and Carriageway works, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that:-No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along the following locations at any time when coning is in place: 1. Wakefield Road, Swillington, Leeds in the Garforth and Swillington Ward between its junctions with Swillington Lane and Wakefield Road A642. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Swillington Lane, Woodland Drive, Hill Crest and vice-versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. Monday 18th September 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 13th October 2023. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for BT works, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that:-No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along the following locations at any time when coning is in place: 1. Stair Foot Lane, Leeds in the Alwoodley Ward, Adel & Wharfedale Ward between its junctions with King Lane and Back Church Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:King Lane, Eccup Lane, Church Lane, Back Church Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from:

a. Monday 18th September 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 26th September 2023. The closure will be in place between 09:30 and 15:30 hrs on each day. K Krawczyk, Ref: RC300859.
