The County of Cornwall (Falmouth) (St Mary’s) (Restrictions on Waiting) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 7th day of September 2023 Cornwall Council made the above Orders operational from 14th day of September 2023 to regulate traffic in Falmouth. The sole effect of these Orders is to reproduce and continue in force indefinitely the provisions of previous experimental Orders made under Section 9 of the Act of 1984. The continued restrictions, and lengths of road affected by them, are specified below.

The Orders and relevant documents are available for public inspection during normal office hours at Reception, New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY. Alternatively, please telephone 01872 327250 or email traffic@cormacltd.co.uk to obtain further information. Please quote reference Infra22-067 on all correspondence.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any provision thereof on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 7th September 2023, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Pedestrian and Cycle Zone (Prohibition of entry to motor vehicles, except authorised vehicles – term time only, Mon-Fri 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm excluding Bank Holidays)

Mongleath Road (spur leading to St Mary’s Catholic Primary School) for its entire length.

No loading at any time
Mongleath Road between Nos 71-79.

No waiting at any time
Mongleath Road sections from No 80 to Penmere Farm; Mongleath Road (spur leading to St Mary’s Catholic Primary School) sections from junction with Mongleath Road to No 11 Queen Anne Gardens; Queen Anne Gardens at junction with Mongleath Road.
