What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES PAVILLION ROAD

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.

ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.

Pavillion Road, to be closed at the junction of Herbert Crescent to outside of number 85.

To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 25th September 2023 until 18.00hrs on Tuesday 26th September 2023, or until such time as the works are complete.

Diverted through traffic may use Pavillion Road, Herbert Crescent, Hans Place, Hans Street, Pavilion Road.

The One-way working of Pavilion Road, between the junctions of Herbert Crescent and Hans Street is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.

Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
