What is happening?

WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(ASHTON ROAD, ROADE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Ashton Road, Roade as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Ashton Road, Roade from outside Water Tower.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of a new pole.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th October 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(CHURCH STREET, NETHER HEYFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Church Street, Nether Heyford as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Church Street, Nether Heyford from outside number 49.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repair works to pipe.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th September 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Church Lane and Weedon Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(SILVER STREET, WALGRAVE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Silver Street, Walgrave as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of

Silver Street, Walgrave from Zion Hill to Kettering Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during accessing the poles for CBT installation.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th September 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(CAMP LANE, KISLINGBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Camp Lane, Kislingbury as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Camp Lane, Kislingbury from its junction with High Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new road crossing and street light installation.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 11th September 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 8th December 2023.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Camp Lane and Beech Lane.
