What is happening?

STROUD DISTRICT COUNCIL Notice of a public path order Town and Country Planning Act 1990, section 257 and paragraph 1 of Schedule 14

STROUD DISTRICT COUNCIL FOOTPATH CST19 AND CST21 DURSLEY RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB, STINCHCOMBE, SECTION 257 DIVERSION ORDER 2023 (Order)

1. The above Order was made on 22 August 2023. The effect of the Order will be to divert two public footpaths: CST19 between A (OSGR: 373206, 199145), D (OSGR: 373357, 199104) and B (OSGR: 373258, 199234) measuring approximately 230m and unknown width; CST21 between D (OSGR: 373357,199104), C (OSGR: 373342, 199080), E (OSGR: 373310, 198966) and F (OSGR: 373221, 198973) measuring approximately 245m and unknown width. With alternative footpath created between B (OSGR: 373397, 199168), B1 (OSGR: 373258, 199234), A (OSGR: 373206,199145), H (OSGR: 373167, 199016), G (OSGR: 373226, 198996) and F (OSGR: 373221, 198973) measuring approximately 485m and approximately 2 metres wide, shown on Order plan.

2. A copy of the Order and plan Is available at: https://www.stroud.gov.uk/parking-streets-and-travel/road-works-closures-and-footpath-diversions/public-foot path-diversions. A hard copy of the order can be requested by email from Legal Services (legal.services@onelegal.org.uk) at a cost of £10.

3. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Legal Services, Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Ebley Wharf, Stroud, GL5 4UB no later than 5 October 2023. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

4. If no representations or objections are made, or if made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
