Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U52300 Diglis Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of Closure 1 - U52300 Diglis Road to its junction with U52298 Diglis Dock Road for a distance of 70 metres in a northerly direction; Closure 2 - U52300 Diglis Lane to its junction with U52298 Diglis Dock Road for a distance of 75 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Bath Road, U52299 Greenway Drive and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 2 October 2023 - 13 October 2023.

(B4637 Tolladine Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: to close that part of B4637 Tolladine Road from its junction with U51340 Kenwood Avenue to its junction with U51346 Elbury Park Road.

Reason: Replace/Renew Manhole Cover by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Vehicles under 3.9 metres tall: B4637 Tolladine Road, B4637 Middle Hollow Drive, B4638 Woodgreen Drive, B4636 Newtown Road, B4205 Midland Road, B4205 Shrub Hill Road and vice versa. Vehicles over 3.9 metres tall: B4637 Tolladine Road, B4637 Middle Hollow Drive, B4638 Woodgreen Drive, B4636 Woodgreen Drive to Nunnery Way, A4440 Nunnery Way, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A4440 Whittington Road, A44 London Road, A38 Sidbury, A38 City Walls Road, B4205 St Martins Gate, B4205 George Street, B4205 Pheasant Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 12 September 2023.

(U51024 Mayfield Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and Worcestershire County Council (Mayfield Road, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2002 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2023

Order made: to close that part of U51024 Mayfield Road from its junction with B4550 Astwood Road to its junction with U51025 Church Road and temporarily suspend Worcestershire County Council (Mayfield Road, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2002 for the duration of the order to facilitate two-way traffic.

Reason: Replace/Renew Manhole Cover/Frame by Severn Trent water.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4550 Astwood Road, U51026 Vauxhall Street, U51025 Church Road.

Reason: Replace/Renew Manhole Cover/Frame by Severn Trent water.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4206 Malvern Road, A449 Malvern Road, A4440 Hams Way, B4485 Bransford Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 12 September 2023.

(C2244 Crews Hill, Suckley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2244 Crews Hill from its junction with U62219 Blackhouse Lane to its junction with U62222 Alfrick.

Reason: Safe working in order to restore network service by Openreach.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2244 Crews Hill, C2244 Suckley, C2070 Suckley, C2064 Malvern Hills Boundary to Longley Green, C2064 Longley Green, C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Lane, Alfrick, C2064 Alfrick Pound, C2233 Alfrick, C2244 Workhouse Bank and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 2 October 2023.

(U43207 Kington Lane, Kington) (Temporary Closure)

Order made: to close that part of U43207 Kington Lane from its junction with A422 Alcester Road to its junction with C2010 Radford Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A422 Alcester Road, C2010 Radford Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days to be completed between 13 September 2023 and 27 September 2023.

(C1140 Suckley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of C1140 Suckley from its junction with U62217 Suckley to its junction with C2064 Malvern Hills boundary to Longley Green.

Reason: Replacement water mains by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2064 Malvern Hills boundary to Longley Green, U62217 Suckley and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 3 October 2023.

(A38 Severn Stoke Bank, Severn Stoke) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order Made: to close that part of A38 Severn Stoke Bank from its junction with C2105 Severn Bank to Kinnersley to its junction with U60206 Stoke Gardens.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(Link Footpath F50332 St Marks Close (btw No. 89/91), Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of Link Footpath F50332 St Marks Close (btw no. 89/91) from its junction with U52301 St. Marks Close for a distance of 36 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Footpath resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52301 St. Marks Close and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days. Commencing: 2 October 2023.

(A422 Worcester Road, Upton Snodsbury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: to close that part of A422 Worcester Road from its junction with C2115 Peopleton Lane to its junction with B4082 Pershore Road.

Reason: Replacement manhole cover by Severn Trent

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A422 (Warwickshire), A46 (Warwickshire & National Highways), A44 Twyford roundabout to Norton Lenchwick A44 Chadbury Bypass, A44 Worcester Road, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Wyre Piddle Bypass, A44 Abbey View Road, A44 Worcester Road, A44 Evesham Road Egdon to Stonebow Road, A44 Evesham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 September 2023.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath WR-917 and Footpath WR-918, Worcester) (Temporary Closure Order) 2023

Order made: to close Footpath WR-917 and Footpath WR-918, Worcester for their entire length.

The Order has been made due to the resurfacing of has been made due to the resurfacing of paths.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: From OSGR X385297 Y252950, WR-762, Osier Close, WR-920, Bath Road, F50264 link Footpath to Roach Close, F50554 link Footpath to Grayling Close, link Footpath to the River Severn at OSGR 385142, 252382 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 11 September 2023.

(A38 Barbourne Road, Worcester) (Bus Lane) (Temporary Suspension) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to temporarily suspend the Bus Lane affecting the highway from its junction with U50126 St Georges Lane to its junction with U50133 Little London to facilitate normal traffic during the works.

Reason: Safe working for overhead cabling works by Openreach.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 2 October 2023.

Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Wordsworth Avenue and Longfellow Road, Worcester]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Wordsworth Avenue (West side): from its junction with Longfellow Road for a distance of 13 metres in a northerly direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction. Longfellow Road (Both sides): from its junction with Wordsworth Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. [Prohibition of Waiting on Dugdale Drive, Worcester]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Dugdale Drive, North: From a point, 14 metres from Bright Avenue, for a distance of 26 metres, in a north-easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. On 24 August 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: -

Broadway Grove - Northwest side: from its junction with Rosemary Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in both a north easterly and south westerly direction. Rosemary Avenue - Both sides: from its junction with Broadway Grove for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
