Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant
to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough South Street, Stanground, Peterborough,
Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2023 Ref: 24-294
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as South
Street, Stanground, at its junction with Coneygree Road for approximately 100m South. The
Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on
the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via Whittlesey Road.
The proposed order will come into force on the 11/09/2023 and will continue until the sewer
connection works have been completed or until the 10/09/2024, whichever is the earlier.
Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take
place between the 11/09/2023 and the 23/09/2023. For further information please

The City of Peterborough Bourges Boulevard, Peterborough, Temporary
Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2023 Ref: 24-283
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Bourges
Boulevard, as lies between Maskew Avenue and Occupation Road. The Council is satisfied that
traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The
alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via Maskew Ave, Bourges Boulevard,
Lincoln Rd and Searjeant St. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/09/2023 and
will continue until the Installation of Telecoms Pole and Cabinet works have been completed
or until the 10/09/2024, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on
site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight from 20:00 on the

The City of Peterborough Bath Road, Eye, Peterborough, Temporary
Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2023. Ref: 24-299
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Bath
Road, Eye, as lies between number 58 to 62. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be
prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route
for vehicles affected by this order is via: Bath Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come
into force on the 11/09/2023 and will continue until the defect maintenance works have
been completed or until the 10/09/2024, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be
confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the

The City of Peterborough Uffington Road, Barnack, Peterborough,
Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order. Ref: 24-298
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Uffington
Road, Barnack as lies between points 10 metres either side of the Uffington level crossing. The
Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on
the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Uffington Rd,
A1175 Main Rd, Tallington Rd, B1443 Barnack Rd, Station Rd, Bainton Rd and vice versa. The
proposed Order will come into force on the 09/09/2023 and will continue until the railway
level crossing inspection has been completed or until the 08/09/2024, whichever is the
earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will
take place between 21:00hrs and 13:00hrs from the 09/09/2023 to the 10/09/2023. For

Works, Peterborough, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
Order 2023 Ref: 24-286
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads known as Various
Roads – Resurfacing and Associated Works as detailed in the schedule below

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed
on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the

until the In-Situ Resurfacing works have been completed or until the 17/09/2024, whichever

The City of Peterborough Mill Road, Maxey, Peterborough, Temporary
Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2023 Ref: 24-303
The effect of which is to stop all traffic from proceeding along the road known as Mill Road,
Maxey, as lies between A15 and Castle End Road. The Council is satisfied that all traffic
should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road.
The  alternative route for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists is shown below. There is no
suitable diversion for equestrians. Vehicular Diversion – A15 Market Deeping Bypass,
Maxey Road Northborough, High Street Maxey, Castle End Road and vice versa. Pedestrian
Diversion – Lincoln Road Deeping Gate, Deeping Gate 3 Section 1 footpath, Maxey 12
section 2 footpath, Maxey 12 Section 1c Permissive Footpath, Maxey 12 Section 1b
Permissive Footpath, Maxey 12 Section 1a Permissive Footpath, High Street Maxey, Castle
End Road and vice versa. Cyclist Diversion – Lincoln Road Deeping Gate, Old Lincoln Road
Northborough, Lincoln Road Northborough, Etton Road To Lincoln Road Cyclepath, Etton
Road Northborough, High Street Maxey, Castle End Road and vice versa. The proposed
order will come into force on the 18/09/2023 and will continue until the construction of
temporary access works have been completed or until the 17/09/2024, whichever is the
earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works

The City of Peterborough St Pauls Road, Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984
as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Notice 2023 Ref: 24-312
The Council of the City of Peterborough gives notice pursuant to section 14(2)(a) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along
the road known as St Pauls Road as lies between Lincoln Road and Allen Road. Access will be
maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should
be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative
route for vehicles affected by this order is via Dogsthorpe Road and Lincoln Road. This notice
is made in the interest of Localised Patching and will remain effective for no more than
5  days from 13th  of September 2023. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully
engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force,
Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces
during  the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the

The City of Peterborough, Huntsmans Gate, Bretton, Peterborough,
Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Ref: 24-313
The Council of the City of Peterborough hereby gives notice pursuant to section 14(2)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act
1991 that between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on the 11 September 2023 no vehicle shall proceed
along the road known as Huntsmans Gate. This notice is made in the interest of resurfacing
works being required to be executed on the above road and will remain effective for 5 days.
Access will be maintained to properties affected by this notice. The alternative route for
vehicles affected by this Order is via: Bretton Way, Milton Way, Sebrights Way, Huntsmans
Gate and vice versa. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs
and 15:30hrs on the 11 September 2023 only. The Notice shall not apply to any persons
lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the
Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special
Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or
