Temporary Closure of Polden Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Polden Street - from the junction with St. John Street, to the junction with Wellington Road. A total distance of 222 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out works to replace a pole.
The Order becomes effective on 19th September 2023 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 26th September 2023 and last until 27th September 2023 between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 2 days.
