What is happening?
PROPOSED DISABLED PARKING PLACES BATCH 2023-01, VARIOUS ROADS THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.24) ORDER 2023 THE HARINGEY (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.25) ORDER 2023 T15
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 25th August 2023 has made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.
The General Effects of the Orders would be:
(i) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; outside Alington House, No.1 Northwood Road N6, No.7 Selborne Road N22, No.9 Grainger Road N22, No.9 Park Avenue North N8, No.18 Gedeney Road N17, No.19 Dongola Road N17, No.24 Mount Pleasant Road N17, No.39 Woodside Road N22, No.54/56 Stanmore Road N15, No.67 Boyton Road N8, No.73 Dunloe Avenue N17, No.84 Pulford Road N15, No.95 Thackeray Avenue N17, outside Mermaid Court on Railway Approach N4, No.119 Truro Road N22.
(ii) To convert existing Disabled Parking Bays to Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, operating at any time, whilst also extending them to measure 6.6 metres in length, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.24 Siddons Road N17, No.52 Harringay Road N15, adjacent to No.65 Downhills Way on Rusper Road N17, No.141 Risley Avenue N17, No.259 Hermitage Road N4.
(iii) To remove Disabled Parking Bays outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.9 & No.18 Elgin Road N22, No.18 Harcourt Road N22, No.38 Clyde Road N22, No.41 Oak Avenue N17, No.50 Braemar Avenue N22, No.102 Roseberry Gardens N4, No.208 Hermitage Road N4, adjacent to No.49 Cranleigh Road on Etherley Road N15.
(iv) To remove Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.61/63 Downhills Way N17, No.5 Argyle Road N17, No.20 Victoria Road N4, No.34 Birkbeck Road N17, No.42 Rathcoole Avenue N8, No.1 to 6 Milton Court on Trinity Road N22, No.88 Steeds Road N10, opposite No.141 Willingdon Road N22, No.205/207 Tower Gardens Road N17.
(v) To introduce Disabled Parking Bays operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; Relocation of existing bay adjacent to No.22 Scales on Chestnut Grove N17 5.5 metres southwards, adjacent to Boots Opticians on Alexandra Road N22. The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
(vi) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2 (i) and (v) of this notice.
(vii) To reinstate the Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(iii) and (iv) of this notice.
(viii) To formalise the 22.5 metres length of Resident Permit Holders Only parking on the north side of Railway Approach N4 and the 23 metre length of Double Yellow Line on the south and east sides of Railway Approach N4.
Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 15th September 2023.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
