ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) Definitive Byway Barwick 41

(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting And Parking) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of footpath repair works to regulate the existing footpath, Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:- No person shall proceed along Definitive Byway Barwick 41, Leeds, from Definitive Footpath Barwick 40, to a point 940m East along the footway. The Order is intended to operate from 14 September 2023 for 24 hours a day and will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed on 2 October 2023. All communications with regard to this Notice should be addressed to PROW@leeds.gov.uk Ref: TC10056.

(Sayner Lane, Hunslet, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, road closure is required for safety from ongoing factory works. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: NO person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Sayner Lane, Hunslet, Leeds in the Hunslet & Riverside Ward between its junctions with Sayner Lane and Sayner Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Clarence Road, Carlisle Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained The Order is intended to come into operation on 18 September 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 12 April 2024. The closure will be in place for 24 hours each day. (Traffic Regulation) (Waiting Restrictions) (No.9) Order 2023

Leeds City Council proposes to make the above Orders under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce:-

1.                     No Waiting at any time on: Castleton Road, Armley, the north-east side – From its junction with the projected north western kerb line of Armley Road in a north westerly, then north easterly direction for a distance of 305 metres; Castleton Road, Armley, the north-east side – From its south easternmost termination in a north westerly direction for a distance of 40 metres and inclusive of the north eastern spur; Castleton Road, Armley, the south-west side – From its junction with the projected north western kerb line of Armley Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 171.5 metres; Castleton Road, Armley, the south-west side – From its south easternmost termination in a north westerly direction for a distance of 169 metres; Grafton Street, Sheepscar, the north-east side – from a point 45 metres south east of its junction with the projected south eastern kerbline of Lovell Park Road for a distance of 5 metres in a south easterly direction; Grafton Street, Sheepscar, the north side – From a point 93.5 metres south east of its junction with the projected south eastern kerb line of Lovell Park Road for a distance of 4 metres in a south easterly direction; Grafton Street, Sheepscar, the north side – From a point 110.5 metres south east of its junction with the projected south eastern kerb line of Lovell Park Road for a distance of 3.5 metres in a south easterly direction; Grafton Street, Sheepscar, the north-east side – From a point 69 metres north west of its junction with the projected north western kerb line of North Street for a distance of 4 metres in a north westerly direction; Lovell Park Close, Sheepscar, the south-east side – From its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Lovell Park Close in an easterly direction for a distance of 12 metres; Lovell Park Close, Sheepscar, the north side – From its junction with the projected north eastern kerb of Lovell Park Hill in an easterly direction for a distance of 26 metres; Lovell Park Close, Sheepscar, the south side – From a point 18.5 metres east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Lovell Park Close in an easterly direction for a distance of 5 metres; Lovell Park Gate, Sheepscar, the east side – From a point 39 metres south of its junction with the projected southern kerbline of Lovell Park Hill for a distance of 5 metres in a south easterly direction; Lovell Park Gate, Sheepscar, the west side – From its junction with the projected southern kerbline of Lovell Park Hill for a distance of 45.5 metres in a southerly direction; Lovell Park Hill, Sheepscar, the east side – From its junction with the projected south eastern kerb line of Lovell Park Close in a southerly direction for a distance of 16.5 metres; Lovell Park Hill, Sheepscar, the north-east side – From a point 37 metres south of its junction with the projected south eastern kerb line of Lovell Park Close in a south easterly direction for a distance of 10.5 metres; Lovell Park Hill, Sheepscar, the south-west side – From its junction with the projected eastern kerbline of Lovell Park Road for a distance of 177.5 metres in a south easterly direction; Lovell Park Hill, Sheepscar, the south-west side – From its intersection with the extended north easternmost building line of No.20 in a south easterly direction for a distance of 24 metres.

2.                     No Waiting Between Specified Hours: Lovell Park Road, Sheepscar, the east side – From its junction with the projected south eastern kerbline of Oatland Drive in a south easterly direction to a point 59.5 metres north of its junction with the projected north western kerbline of Lovell Park Hill, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm (inclusive).

3.                     On Street Pay By Phone Parking: Grafton Street, Sheepscar, the north-east side – From a point 19.5 metres north west of its junction with the projected north western kerb line of North Street for a distance of 44 metres in a north westerly direction. Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm & Sunday, 10am to 10pm (inclusive); Grafton Street, Sheepscar, the north-east side – From a point 16.5 metres south east of its junction with the projected south eastern kerbline of Lovell Park Road for a distance of 28.5 metres in a south easterly direction. Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm & Sunday, 10am to 10pm (inclusive); Grafton Street, Sheepscar the north-east side – From a point 50 metres south east of its junction with the projected south eastern kerb line of Lovell Park Road for a distance of 23.5 metres in a south easterly direction. Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm & Sunday, 10am to 10pm (inclusive); Lovell Park Road, Sheepscar, the east side – From a point 8 metres north of its junction with the projected north western kerbline of Lovell Park Hill in a northerly direction for a distance of 51.5 metres, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm & Sunday, 10am to 10pm (inclusive); Lovell Park Road, Sheepscar

the north-west side – From a point 49 metres south west of its junction with the projected southern kerb line of Elmwood Lane for a distance of 18 metres in a south westerly direction, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm & Sunday, 10am to 10pm (inclusive); Lovell Park Road, Sheepscar

the north-west side – From a point 9.5 metres south west of its junction with the projected southern kerb line of Elmwood Lane for a distance of 36.5 metres in a south westerly direction, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm & Sunday, 10am to 10pm (inclusive); Lovell Park Road, Sheepscar, the south-east side – From a point 22 metres south west of its junction with the projected south western kerb line of Grafton Street for a distance of 28.5 metres in a south westerly direction, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm & Sunday, 10am to 10pm (inclusive); Lovell Park Road, Sheepscar, the south-east side – From a point 62 metres south west of its junction with the projected south western kerb line of Grafton Street for a distance of 11 metres in a south westerly direction. Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm & Sunday, 10am to 10pm (inclusive).

3. The revocation of existing items as identified in the draft Order Schedules.

Full details of the proposals in the form of draft Orders together with plans showing the affected lengths of highway and statement of reasons for making the Orders are available on request by e-mailing TROTEAM@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to, or make any representations concerning the proposed Orders, you should write to Development Team, Legal Services, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR or e-mail legal.development@leeds.gov.uk specifying the grounds on which your objection or representation is made, by no later than 28th September 2023.

(Traffic Regulation) (Movement Restriction) (No.7) Order 2023, and (Traffic Regulation) (Waiting Restriction) (No.6) Order 2023

Leeds City Council has today made the above Orders under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders which comes into force on 8th September 2023 is to introduce:

1. Prohibition of Right Turns from Skinner Lane (Westbound) onto Regent Street (Northbound)

2. Ahead only from Regent Street Northbound at its junction with Skinner Lane.

3. No [Parking] Loading Or Unloading On Footway Or Cycle Track, on Cross Stamford Street, Sheepscar, the south-east side – From a point 22 metres south west of its intersection with the extended south western kerb line of Mushroom Street in a south westerly direction to its junction with Regent Street; Regent Street, Sheepscar, the south-east side – From its junction with Cross Stamford Street in a southerly direction to its junction with the projected northern kerb line of Bell Street; Regent Street, Sheepscar, the west side – From its junction with the projected southern kerb line of Whitelock Street in a southerly direction to a point 18 metres south of its intersection with the extended southern kerb line of Bell Street.

4. No Loading or Unloading At Any Time on Cross Stamford Street, Sheepscar, the south-east side – From a point 22 metres south west of its intersection with the extended south western kerb line of Mushroom Street in a south westerly direction to its junction with Regent Street; Regent Street, Sheepscar. the south-east side – The whole; Regent Street, Sheepscar, the west side – From a point 60.5 metres north of its junction with the projected northern kerb line of Byron Street in a northerly direction to its junction with Sheepscar Street South.

5. No Waiting At Any Time on Cross Stamford Street, Sheepscar, the south-east side – From a point 22 metres south west of its intersection with the extended south western kerb line of Mushroom Street in a south westerly direction to its junction with Regent Street; Regent Street, Sheepscar, the south-east side – The whole; Regent Street, Sheepscar, the west side – From a point 60.5 metres north of its junction with the projected northern kerb line of Byron Street in a northerly direction to its junction with Sheepscar Street South.

6 On Street Pay By Phone Parking, Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm (inclusive) on Regent Street, Sheepscar, the west side – From a point 25.5 metres north of its junction with the projected northern kerb line of Byron Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 35 metres 7. The revocation of existing items as identified in the draft Order Schedules.

A copy of the Orders together with plans showing the affected sections of highway may be obtained by e-mailing legal.development@leeds.gov.uk. if you wish to object to question the validity of an Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
