Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Potter Hill, Pickering, Order 2023, No. 321.
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Potter Hill, Pickering for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 25/09/23 & 30/11/23, due to works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Rawcliff Road, Newton On Rawcliffe for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 25/09/23 & 31/10/23, due to works. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, PUBLIC FOOTPATHS 25.49/5/1 HOVINGHAM & 25.92/5/1 & 25.71/21/1 STONEGRAVE, Order 2022, No. 72.
We have extended this Order to prohibit any any public access along Public Footpaths 25.49/5/1 Hovingham & 25.92/5/1 & 25.71/21/1 Stonegrave between grid reference SE66897798 & SE67557692 due to an unsafe bridge has been continued in force for a further 12 months until 07/09/24. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. NORTON ROAD, MALTON ONE-WAY TRAFFIC EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2023,
NOTICE is hereby given that on 01/09/23 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to introduce this Order for an experimental period of 6 months as specified below: Malton, Norton Road, from the junction of Castlegate to a appoint 214m west of the junction of Castlegate restriction oneway direction east to west. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 10/09/23, together with a map showing the road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at Malton Library, St Michael Street, Malton, YO17 7U during normal office hours from until 06/03/24 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map and www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
The Council will be considering, in due course, whether the provisions of the Order should be continued in force indefinitely. Within a period of 6 months from the coming into force of the Order, or if the Order is subsequently varied or modified, from the coming into operation of that variation or modification (whichever is the later), any person may object to the making of an Order for the purposes of such indefinite continuation.Any person wishing to object to the indefinite continuation of the Order must state the grounds for their objection, in writing, addressed to Area 4 Kirby Misperton Highways Office, Beansheaf Industrial Park, Tofts Road, Kirby Misperton, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 6BG or by email to Area4.Kirbymisperton@northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 06/03/24. If any person wishes to question the validity of the above Experimental Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, they may, within 6 weeks of 01/09/23 make application to the High Court for that purpose.

NOTICE is hereby given that on 1 September 2023 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order s under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013" in so far as it relates to the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Order, for an experimental period of 18 months. Cherry Tree Walk, Amotherby, East Side, From a point of the junction with Meadowfield, southwards for a distance of 11.6 metres.
Cherry Tree Walk, Amotherby, West side From a point of the junction with Meadowfield, southwards for a distance of 13.4 metres.
Meadowfield, Amotherby, North side, From a point of the junction with Main Street, south-westwards for a distance of 23.5 metres, and northwards for a distance of 8 metres.
Meadowfield, Amotherby, South side From a point of the junction with Main Street, north-westwards for a distance of 23.0 metres, and southwards for a distance of 4.8 metres.
Main Street, Amotherby, East side, From a point 40.1 metres south of the junction with Meadowfield, southwards for a distance of 34.3 metres.
Main Street, Amotherby, west side, From a point 69.1 metres north of the junction with Church Street, northwards for a distance of 46.0 metres.
All of the above have a restriction of Prohibition of Parking and Waiting between the hours of 8.30am & 9.15am and 3.00pm & 4.00pm, Mondays to Fridays. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 08/09/23. together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Malton Library, St Michael Street, Malton, YO17 7LJ during normal office hours from 06/09/23 to 08/02/24 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
