(THTTC3207 SOUTH ROAD, TIMSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of South Road, Timsbury from its junction with Southlands Drive, extending north east to its junction with Mill Lane. USRN: 47917805.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to replace decayed electricity poles and reconductoring works on the 26th September 2023 for a maximum period of 4 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.

(THTTC3222 HOOK LANE, HINTON BLEWETT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Hook Lane, Hinton Blewett from a point outside the property known as Shortwood House extending north for approximately 160 metres. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to replace a fire hydrant on the 13th September 2023 for a maximum period of 5 days
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Chilcompton Road, Midsomer Norton from a point outside property number 15 Chilcompton Road, extending south for approximately 110 metres. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer repairs on the 25th September 2023 for a maximum period of 7 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. • Highfield Lane, Compton Martin for its entire length. This road will remain closed for the duration of the works taking place on Harptree Hill. Access will be maintained for residents only. USRN: 47902567.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for a drainage survey by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 13th September 2023 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
