Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council in exercise of powers under Section 16(A-C) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, has made the above Order to facilitate the Tour of Britain Men's Road Race Stage 6.
Effect of the orders:
1. To temporarily close the following lengths of road in the County of Essex via a rolling roadblock.

The following orders will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the said lengths of road only all other restrictions and exemptions contained in the mentioned Orders and Amendments to those Orders shall remain in force.
* The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the said lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
* The Essex County Council (Chelmsford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the said lengths of road only all other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
* The Essex County Council (Brentwood District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the said lengths of road only all other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
* The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the said lengths of road only all other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
* The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the said lengths of road only all other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
3. To temporarily close the following lengths of road in the District of Harlow, times as signed on site.
Road Description
Abercrombie Way Between Third Avenue and Pyenest Road
Three Horseshoes Road From Third Avenue to Woodbine Close
The closures and clearways are scheduled to commence on 08 September 2023 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, these closures and clearways are required to facilitate the Men's Tour of Britain road race, stage 6.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 08 September 2023 and may continue in force for one day.
(Bridleway 52, (Mount Road) South Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Bridleway 52, Benfleet in the District of Castle Point, from a point opposite No 41 Mount Road for approximately 300 metres North to opposite No 103 Mount Road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 04 September 2023 to 29 September 2023 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas replacement works are undertaken. Alternative route available via: Southhill Road, Kiln Road, Thundersley Park Road, London Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 04 September 2023 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 26 & 28 Great Wakering) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpaths 26 & 28 in the District of Rochford.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 04 September 2023 to 04 March 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction of sea wall access tracks and repairs to sea wall are undertaken.
Footpath 28 Great Wakering will be unaffected from Wakering Stairs to Havengore Bridge and will remain open. Byway 30 (The Broomway) will be unaffected. Access will need to be either from the north along Footpath 28 from Havengore Bridge or via public access road from Landwick Gates.
No suitable alternative route available.
The Order will come into effect on 04 September 2023 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. This Order may be extended by the Secretary of State if an extension is required.
(Broughton Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Broughton Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with London Road to its junction with Church Road a distance of approximately 100m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the above closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time" restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 25th September 2023 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2339920 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sign and lining works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via: London Road, Meadow Road and Church Road, OR Church Road, Woodfield Road and London Road. The Order will come into effect on 7th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Corona Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Corona Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 30m east of its junction with Nevada Road for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th September 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001259733 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Corona Road, Brandenburg Road, Newlands Road, Nevada Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 7th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hovefields Avenue, Basildon) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of Hovefields Avenue, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Courtauld Road for a distance of approximately 175m in a northeasterly then southeasterly direction.
2. The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restriction is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2352279 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial holes, jetting and invert level works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 7th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Little Wakering Road, Little Wakering/Barling Magna) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Little Wakering Road, Little Wakering/Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 145m south of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 760m in a southerly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2023 for 21 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30065510187 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead line works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Little Wakering Road, Southend Road, Silchester Corner, Barling Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 7th September 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Eastfield Road, Noak Bridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Eastfield Road, Noak Bridge in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wash Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th September 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO62403495/1/RC - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Wash Road and vice versa (with access only into Eastfield Road, Bridge Street). The Order came into effect on 24th August 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hawk Hill, Rettendon/Chelmsford Road, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hawk Hill, Rettendon/Chelmsford Road, Rawreth in the City of Chelmsford and District of Rochford, from a point approximately 85m east of the junction with Maltings Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th September 2023 for 5 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003797 - Essex County Council).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while structural repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Highcliffe Road & Whist Avenue, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Highcliffe Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 10m north of its junction with Berens Close for a distance of approximately 35m in a northeasterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Whist Avenue, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Highcliffe Road for a distance of approximately 15m in a northeasterly then southeasterly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Nelson Road, Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 45m north east of its junction with Golden Cross Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Nelson Road, Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 95m north east of its junction with Golden Cross Road for a distance of approximately 10m in a north westerly direction.
3. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of roads for the duration of the closures only.

The closures/restriction are required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic installation works are undertaken by CityFibre. No alternative route is available.

(Various Roads, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.17) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as detailed in the Schedule. The works are scheduled to commence after 24th August 2023, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas. The Order came into effect on 24th August 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
