Kimpton Close - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic to Facilitate the Demolition of 3 Tower Blocks in Safety
What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2) (KIMPTON CLOSE, DRUIDS HEATH & MONYHULL) (7552889) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH PEDESTRIAN & TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian or vehicle to enter or proceed along Kimpton Close from its junction with Bells Lane.
The temporary Order is required to facilitate the Demolition of 3 Tower Blocks in Safety.
An alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 18th September 2023 and will remain in force for a period of 10 Months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
