What is happening?

BRIGHTON & HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE BRIGHTON & HOVE (BRIGHTON & HOVE TRIATHLON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2023

On Sunday, 10 September 2023 the Brighton & Hove Triathlon is taking place. To facilitate its safe passage the route will need to be closed to traffic and therefore Brighton & Hove City Council have made an order under Section 16A to C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which temporarily brings into force the following traffic regulations between the hours of 06.00 and 14.00 or until safe to reopen on this day. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle that’s not participating in, or connected with the Brighton & Hove Triathlon to proceed in, exit from, or turn into any of the lengths of road specified below, except upon the direction or with the permission of a Police Constable in uniform or that of a uniformed marshal:

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2023 FROM 06:00 - 14:00

A259 Kingsway from its junction with Wish Road to its junction with Western Street.

One Way Order to be suspended Sunday 10 September 2023 from 06:00 - 14:00 West side of Norfolk Square only - one way order to be suspended and traffic direction to be reversed.
