Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Bridleway 47, Belstead to facilitate the installation of a sewage pipe.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Chapel Road, Grove Hill, Bridleway 9 and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

• the U4624 Crown Street, Stowmarket from the railway bridge for 20 metres south westbound

• the U4624 Cardinalls Road, Stowmarket from the railway bridge for 20 metres northbound.

This is to facilitate track renewal works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Cardinalls Road, Spring Row, the B1113, the B1115, Mortimer Road, Navigation Approach, the A1308, Crown Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closures will operate from 10pm - 6am on the following dates:

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF THE U1551 CANNON STREET, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1551 Cannon Street, Bury St Edmunds from no. 61a for 30 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be St Martins Street, Long Brackland, Ipswich Street, the A1302, Northgate Street and no vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of one-way provision on part of the U1551 Cannon Street, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Cadney Lane to Northgate Street to allow access and egress.

For the duration of this closure there will be a temporary suspension of one-way traffic on the U1022 Coytes Gardens, Ipswich to allow access and egress.

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF BRIGHTWELL) (FOOTPATHS 9 AND 10) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

This order, which came into effect on 12/09/2022 closing Footpath 9 Brightwell and Footpath 10, Brightwell from Brightwell Bridleway 12 to Brightwell Footpath 9, has been extended in force by the Minister until 12/03/2024 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

This closure remains required due to the interests of public safety, during the construction of a new spine road and the installation of electrical cables and services which is ongoing. The route is also obstructed by a bund containing a high voltage electrical cable which cannot be moved until later in the year, subject to agreement.
