What is happening?

DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) 2023 HAUGHTON ROAD SOUTH EAST BACK STREET, DARLINGTON

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily close: HAUGHTON ROAD SOUTH EAST BACK STREET From its junction with Westgarth Terrace eastwards to the eastern boundary of 210 Haughton Road

An alternative route will be signed via Westgarth Terrace, Haughton Road, Wolsingham Terrace and vice versa.

The Order is necessary to allow works by Northumbrian Water to install a new service connection.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 25th September 2023, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 8 days.
