HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A411 HIGH STREET, BUSHEY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 High Street, Bushey from its junction with Falconer Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 450m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via A411 (London Road/Chalk Hill), A4008 (Aldenham Road/ Pinner Road), A411 (Lower High Street/ Dalton Way/Waterfields Way), A4008 Stephenson Way, A41 (Otterspool Way/Elton Way/Tylers Way) and A411 (Elstree Road/ Sparrows Herne/High Street)

or via A411 (High Street/Sparrows Herne/Elstree Road), A41 (Tylers Way/Elton Way/North Western Avenue), A4008 (Stephenson Way/Waterfields Way) and A411 (Lower High Street/Chalk Hill/ London Road).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF QUEENS AVENUE, WATFORD) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Queens Avenue, Watford from its junction with Whippendell Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 28m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Whippendell Road, Hagden Lane and Queens Avenue or via Whippendell Road, Harwoods Road, A412 Rickmansworth Road, Hagden Lane and Queens Avenue.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LOWER PADDOCK ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Lower Paddock Road, Watford from its junction with Field Road north westwards to its junction with Rowley Close, a distance of approximately 32m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Lower Paddock Road, Upper Paddock Road, Villiers Road and Lower Paddock Road.

The Order is needed because water service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD AND ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Birchmead, Watford from its junction with Nascot Wood Road south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of New Street, Watford from its junction with Church Street north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3. that length of College Road, Abbots Langley from its junction with Langley Lane north eastwards and eastwards to its junction with Tylersfield, a distance of approximately 88m.

An alternative route will be via Langley Lane, Aerodrome Way, Ashfields, High Road, A405 North Orbital Road, Horseshoe Lane and College Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CANTERBURY ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Canterbury Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Eldon Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Eldon Avenue, Brook Road, Stratfield Road and Canterbury Road.

The Order is needed because electrical service connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF TANNERS HILL, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Tanners Hill, Abbots Langley from its junction with Langley Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because the installation of a new duct is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN B5378 ALLUM LANE, ELSTREE) ORDER NO.2 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B5378 Allum Lane, Elstree from its junction with the access road leading to 'Elstree Recycling Centre' north eastwards to its junction with Barham Avenue, a distance of approximately 450m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via B5378 Allum Way, A5183 (Elstree Hill North/High Street), A411 Barnet Lane, A1 Barnet Bypass, A5183 Elstree Way and B5378 (Shenley Road/ Allum Lane) or via B5378 (Allum Lane/Shenley Road), A5183 (Elstree Way/ Rowley Lane), A1 Barnet Bypass, A411 Barnet Lane, A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill North) and B5378 Allum Lane.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 4 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Rendlesham Way south westwards to its junction with Clovers Court, a distance of approximately 45m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Rendlesham Way, Stag Lane, Heronsgate Road and Quickley Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 4 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A412 ST ALBANS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with Langley Road north eastwards to its junction with Lowestoft Road, a distance of approximately 580m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove, A4008 Stephenson Way, A41 (North Western Avenue Cole Way/North Western Avenue) and A412 Albans Road or via A412 St Albans Road, A41 North Western Avenue, A411 (Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue) and A412 St Albans Road.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 4 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD, BUSHEY, HAYLING, ABBOTS LANGLEY, SOUTH OXHEY AND CROXLEY GREEN) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

a) that length of Beechwood Rise, Watford from its junction with Cherry Tree Road south eastwards to its junction with Longspring, a distance of approximately 395m.

An alternative route will be via Cherry Tree Road, Leggatts Wood Avenue, A412 St Albans Road and Longspring.

b) that length of Cherry Tree Road, Watford from its junction with Beechwood Rise north eastwards to its junction with Berry Avenue, a distance of approximately 255m.

An alternative route will be via Beechwood Rise, Hazel Tree Road, Leggatts Wood Avenue, Ash Tree Road and Berry Avenue.

c) that length of Queens Road, Watford from its junction with St Johns Road south eastwards to its junction with Radlett Road, a distance of approximately 291m.

An alternative route will be via St Johns Road, Sotheron Road, Sutton Road, Prince Street and Queens Road.

d) the road leading to Nos.160-198 Croxley View, Watford from its junction with Croxley View north westwards, south westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

e) that length of Souldern Street, Watford from its junction with Aynho Street south westwards to its junction with Banbury Street, a distance of approximately 150m.

An alternative route will be via Aynho Street, Oxford Street, A4145 Vicarage Road and Banbury Street.

f) that length of Banbury Street, Watford from its junction with Souldern Street south eastwards to its junction with A4145 Vicarage Road, a distance of approximately 103m.

An alternative route will be via Souldern Street, Aynho Street, Oxford Street and A4145 Vicarage Road.

g) that length of Aynho Street, Watford from its junction with Oxford Street north westwards to its junction with Souldern Street, a distance of approximately 51m.

An alternative route will be via Oxford Street, A4145 Vicarage Road, Banbury Road and Souldern Street.

h) that length of Magnaville Road, Bushey from its junction with Clay Lane north eastwards and eastwards to its junction with A409 Heathbourne Road, a distance of approximately 356m.

An alternative route will be via Clay Lane and A409 Heathbourne Road.

i) that length of Hallowes Crescent, Hayling from its westernmost junction with Hayling Road north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 163m.

An alternative route will be via Hayling Road.

j) that length of Hazelbury Avenue, Abbots Langley from its junction with Gallows Hill north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Gallows Hill Lane, a distance of approximately 411m.

An alternative route will be via Gallows Hill and Gallows Hill Lane.

k) that length of B4542 Prestwick Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Oxhey Drive north westwards to its junction with B4542 Brookdene Avenue, a distance of approximately 1189m.

An alternative route will be via B4542 Prestwick Road/The Woods), A4125 Sandy Lane/ Hampermill Lane) and B4542 Brookdene Avenue.

l) that length of Otley Way, South Oxhey from its junction with Ainsdale Road north eastwards to its junction with Gosforth Lane, a distance of approximately 282m.

An alternative route will be via Ainsdale Road, Oxhey Drive and Gosforth Lane.

m) that length of Turnberry Court, South Oxhey from its junction with Otley Way north westwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

n) that length of Valley Walk, Croxley Green from its junction with Sycamore Road south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with A412 Watford Road, a distance of approximately 544m.

An alternative route will be via Sycamore Road, Sycamore Approach and A412 Watford Road. 2. The existing one way traffic systems on the following lengths of Roads will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within these length of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

a) that length of Aynho Street, Watford from its junction with Oxford Street north westwards to its junction with Souldern Street, a distance of approximately 51m.

b) that length of Souldern Street, Watford from its junction with Aynho Street south westwards to its junction with Banbury Street, a distance of approximately 150m.

c) that length of Banbury Street, Watford from its junction with Souldern Street south eastwards to its junction with A4145 Vicarage Road, a distance of approximately 103m.

d) that length of Oxford Street, Watford from its junction with A4145 Vicarage Road north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Banbury Street, a distance of approximately 200m.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 4 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHURCH STREET, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER NO.3 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Church Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with the A404 Riverside Drive roundabout north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Northway, a distance of approximately 430m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A404 Riverside Drive, A412 (Rectory Road/Park Road), High Street and Church Street or via Northway, Station Road, Homestead Road, A412 (Park Road/ Rectory Road) and A404 Riverside Drive.

The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 7 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HILL FARM AVENUE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the southbound carriageway of Hill Farm Avenue, Abbots Langley from its junction with Langley Lane south eastwards to its junction with Hill Farm Close, a distance of approximately 95m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Langley Lane, Aerodrome Way, Ashfields, High Road and Hill Farm Avenue.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 19 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Hempstead Road, Watford from its junction with Woodville Court north westwards for a distance of approximately 99m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A411 (Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue), A412 St Albans Road, A41 North Western Avenue and A411 Hempstead Road or via A411 Hempstead Road, A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road and A411 Hempstead Road.
