Park Road (D3710) Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 06 September 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Park Road (D3710) Woking from its junction with (D3708) Heathside Crescent to its junction with (D3709) Pembroke Road. Alternative Route: a) Heathside Crescent, White Rose Lane, Heathside Road, and Pembroke Road and;
b) Pembroke Road, Heathside Road, White Rose Lane, Heathside Crescent, Oriental Road, and Heathside Crescent. This Order is required to facilitate highways/footways improvement and/or maintenance works by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 20 September 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion route. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. During certain phases of the works, vehicular access to premises may be restricted, when this is the case such restriction of access will apply for no more than eight hours within any 24-hour period.
Pembroke Road (D3709) Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Pembroke Road (D3709) Woking as extends from its junction with (C144) Maybury Hill to its junction with (X5426) Lytton Road. Alternative Route: Maybury Hill, Shaftsbury Road, and Pembroke Road or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation/ removal of telegraph pole works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 October 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion route.
