The Isle of Wight Council (Blackbridge Road, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2023

The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Sandown to Newport, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Cyclists) Order No 7 2023

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Wednesday 13 September 2023 and Friday 15 September 2023, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Heathfield Road for its entire length. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 8 September 2023 and Friday 13 October 2023 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for approximately 1 to 15 days during this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of carriageway maintenance works to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, rectification, resurfacing, drainage works, maintenance works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours from Saturday 02 September 2022 until 1800 hours on Sunday 03 September 2023, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, a one-way restriction will be introduced along a) Corve Hill for its entire length in a south-west direction; b) Park Lane for its entire length in a south to north direction; c) Pound Lane for its entire length in a north-west direction; d) Wolverton Lane between its junctions with Doctors Lane and Pound Lane in a south-west direction.
