(A2220)) (Temporary Night-Time Closure) Order 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be introduce temporary night-time road closures in Copthorne as follows:
Brook Hill Road: From its junction with the A264, northeastwards for 75m; and
Copthorne Road (A2220): From its junction with the A264, south-westwards for 100m.
These roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6pm and will not be closed at the same time.
The closure of these roads is needed to maintain safety while carriageway re-construction works take place on the roundabout at their junction with the A264.
The Order will come into effect on 4 September 2023 and remain in force until 9 September 2023. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Burgess Hill: Chichester Way and Adjoining Roads Amendment) Order 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has recently made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to enact recently installed restrictions that prohibit waiting at any time on both sides of Chichester Way in Burgess Hill at its junctions with Valebridge Drive and Charlwood Road.
A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 4 September 2023, together with plans showing the affected lengths of road may be viewed on the West Sussex County Council website. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the West Sussex County Council Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within
6 weeks from 31 August 2023, apply to the High Court for this purpose. Ref: CMS2204-MM
