Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DOVER AREA
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, DOVER) (SPEED LIMITS) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2022
(AMENDMENT No.6) ORDER 2023
Notice is given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, acting as Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter referred to as the Act) and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order.
The effect of the order would be to extend the speed limit of 30MPH speed limit on the following length of roads in Denton, Dover:-
CANTERBURY ROAD – From the current speed limit at its junction with Denton Lane for a distance of 125 metres in a southerly direction DENTON LANE – From its junction with Canterbury Road for a distance of 65 metres in a south easterly direction.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to extend the current 30MPH speed limit in East Farleigh, Maidstone on the following length of road:-
FORGE LANE – From junction with Vicarage Lane for a distance of 150 meters in an easterly direction. GALLANTS LANE – From junction with Wilsons Lane to junction with Heath Road. VICARAGE LANE – From the current speed restriction at its junction with Forge Lane for its entire length. WILSONS LANE – For its entire length.

SWALE AREA
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL

(SPEED LIMITS) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2022
(AMENDMENT No.7A) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, acting as Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter referred to as the Act) and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order.
The effect of the order would be to reduce the current speed limit to 30MPH on the following lengths of roads in Dunkirk, Swale:-
LONDON ROAD (CANTERBURY ROAD) (1) Extend the existing 30MPH from eastern boundary of Prospect Cottage for a distance of 110 metres in easterly then southerly direction towards the A2 slip road.
This order will be added to the consultation for Amendment 7 when both orders are made.
