ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (A379 [EAST & WESTBOUND], EXETER) (NO. 3) ORDER 2023
TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT AND OCCASIONAL ROAD CLOSURE

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 18/9/23 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 17/3/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30 miles per hour on the sections of Affected Roads when temporary traffic signing is in place. Also, for approximately 20 nights throughout this period (Monday to Fridays, 19.00 to 06.00hours) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: A379 [EAST & WESTBOUND], EXETER. 
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via EASTBOUND: A379 S, A38 S, ROAD FROM PYE CORNER TO TREHILL LODGE, SPLATFORD LANE BRIDGE, A38 N, A30 N, ALPHINGTON ROAD (A377), MARSH GREEN ROAD WEST, TRUSHAM ROAD, ALPHIN BROOK ROAD, HENNOCK ROAD CENTRAL, BAD HOMBURG WAY. WESTBOUND: BAD HOMBURG WAY, HENNOCK ROAD CENTRAL, ALPHIN BROOK ROAD, TRUSHAM ROAD, MARSH GREEN ROAD WEST, ALPHINGTON ROAD (A377), A30 S, A38 S, ROAD FROM PYE CORNER TO TREHILL LODGE, SPLATFORD LANE BRIDGE, A379 N. 
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: A379 IMPROVEMENT WORKS. For additional information contact: WSP.
