TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH WATTON AT STONE 21
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Watton at Stone 21, heading south east from High Street, for an approximate distance of 56m.
Alternative route: via High Street, Station Road and Watton at Stone 17
The purpose of the Order is to enable maintenance works works to take place.
The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 04 September 2023 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF C95 (UNNAMED ROAD), STANDON) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C95 (unnamed road), Standon from its junction with Ermine Street north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 550m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Ermine Street, A10 Puckeridge Bypass, Mentley Lane West, C16 Great Munden, Munden Road, Mill Lane and C95 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because the installation of a new utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Mill Lane, Dane End/C95 (unnamed road), Levens Green from its junction with Munden Road north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Stockalls Lane, a distance of approximately 2867m.
An alternative route will be via Munden Road, Whitehill, Potters Green, Standon Green End, Ermine Street and C95 (unnamed road).
2. that length of Brickendon Lane, Brickendon/Hertford from its junction with Brickendon Lane north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with B158 Horns Mill Road, a distance of approximately 4001m.
An alternative route will be via Brickendon Lane, Pembridge Lane, White Stubbs Lane, C54 (unnamed road), Church Road, Robins Nest Hill and B158 (Lower Hatfield Road/Horns Mill Road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A1250 Dunmow Road, Bishops Stortford from its junction with the Parsonage Lane roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 419m, except for access.
An alternative route will be via A1250 (Dunmow Road/Hockerill Street/The Causeway/Link Road/Hadham Road), A120 (Bishops Stortford Bypass/unnamed road) and A1250 Dunmow Road.
2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from Shortcroft into A1250 Dunmow Road, Bishops Stortford, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via A1250 (Dunmow Road/Hockerill Street/The Causeway/Link Road/Hadham Road), A120 (Bishops Stortford Bypass/unnamed road) and A1250 Dunmow Road.
3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from Woodside into A1250 Dunmow Road, Bishops Stortford, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via A1250 (Dunmow Road/Hockerill Street/The Causeway/Link Road/Hadham Road), A120 (Bishops Stortford Bypass/unnamed road) and A1250 Dunmow Road.
The Order is needed because M11 (junction 8) improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 4 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS FOOTWAYS, FOOTPATH AND SUBWAYS IN HERTFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
1. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footway (“the Footways”):-
a) the footway situated on the west side of Mangrove Road, Hertford from its junction with A414 London Road south eastwards to its junction with Hertford Public Footpath No.075, a distance of approximately 27m.
An alternative route will be via the footpath situated on the south west side of A414 London Road, the footpath situated on the south east side of A414 Gascoyne Way, Hertford Public Footpath No.081 and Hertford Public Footpath No.075.
b) the footway situated on the south west side of A414 London Road, Hertford from its junction with Mangrove Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 81m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the west side of Mangrove Road, Hertford Public Footpath No.075, Hertford Public Footpath No.081 and the footpath situated on the south east side A414 Gascoyne Way.
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the following length of footpath (“the Footpath”):-
a) the footpath situated on the south west side of A414 London Road and the south east side of A414 Gascoyne Way, Hertford from a point 81 m north west of its junction with Mangrove Road north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Hertford Public Footpath No.081, a distance of approximately 134m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south west side of A414 London Road, the footway situated on the west side of Mangrove Road, Hertford Public Footpath No.075 and Hertford Public Footpath No.081.
3. To prohibit all subway users from using the following length of subway (“the Subways”):-
a) the subway situated beneath A414 Gascoyne Way, Hertford from its junction with Fore Street south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 85m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south side of Fore Street, the footway situated on the east side of Church Street, the subway situated beneath A414 Gascoyne Way, Hertford Public Footpath No.077, the footpath situated on the north west side of ‘All Saints Church, Hertford Public Footpath No.079 and the footpath situated on the south east side of A414 Gascoyne Way.
b) the subway situated beneath A414 London Road, Hertford from a point 120 m north west of its junction with Mangrove Road north eastwards, south eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 57m.
