North Essex Parking Partnership Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) Temporary Waiting and Loading Restriction - Various Roads, Clacton on Sea
Notice is hereby given that from the date specified below, Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1 July 2022 Has Made the following order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, a temporary waiting and loading restriction in the lengths of road and during the date and times specified below. The restriction is required due to the likelihood of danger to the public.
No Waiting and No Loading from 6.00am to 7.00pm on Wednesday 23 August, Thursday 24 August and on Friday 25 August 2023
Lengths of road at Clacton-on-Sea.
Tower Road, Clacton - North-east side from its junction with Marine Parade West to the north western boundary of no.42 Tower Road, a distance of approximately 150 metres.
Wash Lane - Both sides from its junction with West Road to its junction with Freeland Road, a distance of approximately 275 metres.
Hastings Avenue
- East side from its junction with West Road for a distance of 100 metres.Hastings Avenue - South-east side from a point opposite the boundary between nos. 69/71 Hastings Avenue for a distance of 55 metres in a south westerly direction.
Hastings Avenue - Both sides from the boundary between nos. 11/15 Hastings Avenue for a distance of 70 metres in a generally westerly direction.
Selsey Avenue - Both sides from its junction with Hastings Avenue for a distance of 25 metres in a southerly direction.
Link Road
- Both sides from its junction with Alton Park Road south east for 15 metres.Arnold Road - Both sides from its junction with Leas Road south east for 20 metres.
Crown Road - Both sides from its junction with Cherry Tree Avenue in an east and then north east direction for 30 metres.
Queen Elizabeth Avenue
- Both sides form its junction with Cherry Tree Avenue east for 25 metres.Prince Philip Avenue - Both sides from its junction with Cherry Tree Avenue east for 35 metres.
Vista Road - From its northern junction with Skelmersdale Road both sides for 10 metres.
Vista Road - South Side from a point opposite the boundary line of 84/86 north west for 30 metres.
Recreation Road - From its junction with Vista Road both sides southwest for 10 metres.
Valence Way - Both sides from its junction with Vista Road northeast for 10 metres.
Alton Park Road - East side from a point opposite the boundary of numbers 52/54 Alton Park Road to a point opposite the boundary of numbers 60/62 Alton Park Road, a distance of approximately 39 metres.
Anchor Road
- Both sides from its junction with Alton Park Road to a point 3 metres west of the boundary of numbers 80/82 Anchor Road for a distance of approximately 18 metres.Park Road - Both sides from junction with Anchor Road to a point level with the boundary wall of number 48 Park Road.
Deal Close - Both sides south west from the junction with Hastings Avenue to the junction with Little Stone Court.
Weymouth Close - Both sides north east from the junction with Hastings Avenue to a point level with the north east facing boundary wall of number 31 Weymouth Close.
No Waiting from 8.00am to 10.00pm on Thursday 24 August 2023 and from 8.00am to 6.00pm on Friday 25 August 2023.
Lengths of road at Clacton-on-Sea.
Nelson Road - Both sides approximately 16.5 metres from the junction with Marine Parade East for a distance of approximately 147.0 metres.
Cherry Tree Avenue
- Both sides from its junction with West Road north west for 20 metres.West Road - North side from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Cherry Tree Avenue to a point 15 metres east of the same junction.
Collingwood Road
- Both sides approximately 16.5 metres from the junction with Marine Parade East for a distance of approximately 75.0 metres.St Vincent Road - Both sides approximately 15.5 metres from the junction with Marine Parade east for a distance of approximately 147.0 metres.
Trafalgar Road - Both sides approximately 17.5 metres from the junction with Marine Parade East for a distance of approximately 149.0 metres.
Any existing Stopping, Waiting and parking restrictions relating to the above lengths of road contained in The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Consolidation) Order 2019 are temporarily suspended for the duration of the above restrictions.
(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.39) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order:
1. To extend the 'No Waiting At Any Time' on both sides of Reckitts Close, Clacton for approximately 25 metres south-east.
2. To introduce No Waiting Mon to Fri between 10-11am and 2-3pm excluding Bank holidays within Reckitts Close, Clacton.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TM185 155, revision 1 with revision 2.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 45m north of its junction with Rosemary Road West for a distance of approximately 95m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2023 for 1 night (19:00-23:00) or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM62432051 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.An alternative route is available via Alton Park Road, St Osyth Road, Old Road, Pier Avenue, Rosemary Road West and vice versa (with access only into Anchor Road and that section of Old Road from the junction with Rosemary Road West northwards to the closure).
The Order will come into effect on 31st August 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Old Road/Key Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Old Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with St Andrews Road to its junction with Page Road a distance of approximately 60m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Key Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 4th September 2023 for 1 night (19:00-23:00) or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM62315949 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Warwick Road, St Osyth Road and vice versa (with access only into Key Road, Pier Avenue and Old Road). The Order came into effect on 17th August 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Osyth Road East, Little Clacton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of St Osyth Road East, Little Clacton in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Greenlawns for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th September 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM62428325 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.An alternative route is available via London Road, Leys Drive and vice versa with access only into St Osyth Road East). The Order came into effect on 17th August 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Thorpe Road, Little Clacton/Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Thorpe Road, Little Clacton/Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from the junction with Centenary Way to the junction with Holland Road a distance of approximately 865m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th September 2023 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2350984 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.An alternative route is available via Centenary Way, Centenary Way Roundabout, Montana Roundabout, London Road, Holland Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th August 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
