(Shepperdine Road, Oldbury-on-Severn) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Shepperdine Road which extends from a point 1150m north west of Hill Lane north eastwards for 50m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon fire hydrant chamber rebuilding works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 5 September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 days duration. Alternative route: Nupdown Lane, Hill Lane and vice versa
(Public Footpaths Network Carmarthen Grove, Willsbridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Foot Passengers) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to foot passengers that length of Footpaths Network Carmarthen Grove which extends from Carmarthen Grove northwards for 15m between property numbers 3 and 4 Carmarthen Grove This order was required for the following reason: in connection with footpath construction works. The order became operative from 4 September 2023 for a maximum period of six months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 6 weeks duration.

(Coniston Road, Patchway) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Coniston Road which extends from Blakeney Road to Elmore Road.
This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon works to infill the subway.
The order became operative from 4 September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 months duration. Alternative route: Coniston Road (parts unaffected), Highwood Road, Hayes Way, A38 Gloucester Road, Coniston Road (parts unaffected) and vice versa
(Overndale Road, Downend) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Overndale Road which extends from Cave Drive northwards for 75m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with manhole cover replacement works. The order became operative from 10 September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 day duration, between the hours of 9am and 3pm. Alternative route: Overndale Road, Cleeve Hill, Badminton Road, Downend Road and vice versa
(Upper Station Road, Staple Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians the lengths of Upper Station Road specified in the Schedule to this notice. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon gas main upgrade works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 4 September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that the works relating to each location will be carried out on the dates specified in relation to each length of road in column 2 of the said

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Bury Hill which extends from a point 130m north of Moorend Road northwards for 20m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with wall parapet repair works. The order became operative from 4 September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 6 weeks duration. Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has:-
a) prohibited, temporarily, any vehicle proceeding at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour in that length of Westerleigh Road which extends from its crossroads junction with Henfield Road south westwards for 175m and eastwards for 175m; b) suspended temporarily the South Gloucestershire Council (B4465 Westerleigh Road and Wapley Road, Mangotsfield to Codrington Area and Nibley Area, Yate) (30 mph Speed Limit) (40 mph Speed Limit) (50 mph Speed Limit) Order 2012 in so far as it relates to the length of road specified for the duration of this order. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with road and site safety. The order became operative from 3 September 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The measures however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 18 months duration.
