Walham Grove - Road Traffic Regulation to Introduce a One Way Working

THE HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (CONSOLIDATION) AMENDMENT (NO. 2) EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham made the abovementioned Order under the powers granted by sections 9 and 10, to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the experimental Traffic Order will be to introduce a one way working in:
(a) Walham Grove, north-eastbound, between No. 1 Walham Grove and its junction with Farm Lane; and
(b) Micklethwaite Road, south-east and south-westbound, between its junction with Halford Road and its junction with Farm Lane.
3. Pedal cycles will be exempt from the one way working in Walham Grove.
4. The above-mentioned Order shall come into operation on 8th September 2023.
5. For a period of 6 weeks from the day on which the Order is made, a copy of the Order and a copy of the Councils statement of reasons for making the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected by requesting a copy in writing to Traffic Orders, Parking Services, Environmental Services, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.Orders@lbhf.gov.uk.
6. The Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the Orders should be continued in force indefinitely by means of permanent Orders made under sections 6, 45 and 46 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Any person may object to the making of the permanent Orders within a period of six months beginning with the date on which the experimental Orders come into force or, if the Orders are varied by another Order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the 1984 Act, beginning with the date on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification comes into force. Any such objection must be made in writing and must state the grounds on which it is made and be sent to Transport and Highways Department, Environmental Services, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.Orders@lbhf.gov.uk.
7. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
