Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (A451 Stourport Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Order made: to close that part of A451 Stourport Road:
Closure 1 - A451 Stourport Road from its junction with A4535 Sutton Road to A451 Stourport Road to its junction with A4420 Silverwoods Way. Closure 2 - B4549 Sutton Park Road from its junction with A451 Stourport Road to B4549 Sutton Park Road to its junctions with U12100 Connaught Avenue and U12045 Reservoir Road.
Reason: Drainage works/flood alleviation by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion for Closure 1 - A451 Stourport Road, A4420 Silverwood Way, A442 Worcester Road, A451 The Ringway, A451 Stourport Road and vice versa.
Diversion for Closure 2 - B4549 Sutton Park Road, A456 Bewdley Hill, A4535 Sutton Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 18 nights (19:30-05:00). Commencing: 29 August 2023.
(A456 Coventry Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of A456 Coventry Street from its junction with A456 The Ring Way to its junction with the exit slip road off A456 Coventry Street Roundabout for a distance of 46 metres.
Reason: New/replacement electricity cabling by Western Power Distribution.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A448 Comberton Road, A449 Chester Road North, A456 Birmingham Road, A456 Coventry Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (19:00-06:00). Commencing: 29 August 2023.
(U13410 Mill Lane and Station Drive, Blakedown) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of U13410 Mill Lane to close that part of U13410 Mill Lane and Station Drive from its junction with A456 Birmingham Road to its junction with C2126 Churchill Lane.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2126 Churchill Lane, A456 C2126 Churchill Lane, A456 Birmingham Road, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days. Commencing: 16 September 2023.
(C2082 Cakebole Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Order made: to close that part of C2082 Cakebole Lane from its junction with U13610 Dobes Lane to its junction with C2082 Cakebole.
Reason: Boundary box and meter renewal by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2082 Cakebole Lane, A448 Kidderminster Road, A448 Bromsgrove Road, C2014 Curslow Lane, C2082 Cakebole and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 30 August 2023.
(U12508 St George's Terrace, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (St.George's Terrace, Kidderminster) Various Traffic Orders 1987 (Temporary Suspension (part)) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of U12508 St George's Terrace from its junction with U12506 George Street to its junction with U12500 Offmore Road and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (St. George's Terrace, Kidderminster) Various Traffic Orders 1987, to allow for two-way traffic access during the works.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12506 George Street, U12505 Cherry Orchard, U12500 Offmore Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 18 September 2023.
(A448 Comberton Hill, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of A448 Comberton Hill from its junction with A448 Comberton Hill Roundabout to its junction with A449 Chester Road South.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Chester Road South, A442 Worcester Road, A451 The Ringway, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 13 nights (20:00-05:30). Commencing: 14 September 2023.
(U10500 Severnside South, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of U10500 Severnside South from its junction with U10227 Load Street to its junction with U10500 Lax Lane.
Reason: Carriageway works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U10500 Lax Lane, B4194 High Street, B4190 Load Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 18 September 2023.
(C2136 Sion Hill, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2136 Sion Hill to close that part of C2136 Sion Hill from its junction with A449 Stourbridge Road for a distance of 90 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Replacement manhole cover by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2136 Sion Hill, B4189 Wolverley Road, C2136 Sion Hill, B4189 Wolverley Road, A449 Stourbridge Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 15 September 2023.
(B4190 Beales Corner & B4190 Load Street (Bridge), Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023
Order made: to close that part of:
Closure 1 - B4190 Beales Corner from its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Road to its junction with B4190 Load Lane. Closure 2 - B4190 Load Street (bridge) from its junction with B4190 Beales Corner to its junction with U10500 Severn Side South.
Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water
Exemptions: Access cannot be maintained for all emergency services during the works. Please use the alternative route.
Alternative route: B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Cleobury Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, A456 Stourport Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4190 Kidderminster Road and vice versa.

Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Mill Lane and Beechcote Avenue, Wolverley]
On 10 August 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Wolverley:- B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Cleobury Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, A456 Stourport Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4190 Kidderminster Road and vice versa.
Mill Lane, Wolverley (west side) - from its junction with Beechcote Avenue for a distance of 7.5m in a northerly direction.
from its junction with Beechcote Avenue for a distance of 7.5m in a northerly direction.
Beechcote Avenue, Wolverley (north side) - from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of 17.5m in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 31 August 2023. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be downloaded at the Wyre Forest Public Notice Page on the Worcestershire County Council Website inspected at Kidderminster Library, Market Street, Kidderminster DY10 1AD and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
