NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Station Road, Wilburton

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/967

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Wilburton as lies between numbers 1 and 4.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Whitecross Road - Stretham Station Road - Grunty Fen Road - Pools Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 26 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 25 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 26 September and 28 September 2023.

Upware Road, Upware

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1002

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Upware Road, Upware as lies between Old School Lane and Far Away Farm.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Prior Fen - Great Drove (C214), Swaffham Prior - Headlake Drove (C214) - Whiteway Drove - Station Road - High Street - Cage Hill - B1102 - A142 - A1123 and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate New water supply and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 27 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 26 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 27 September and 29 September 2023.

Newnham Drove and Weirs Drove, Burwell

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1056

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Newnham Drove and Weirs Drove, Burwell as lies between Hythe Lane and Newhall Farm.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Reach Road - B1102 - The Causeway (C221) - Hythe Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 September and 15 September 2023.

Chapel Street, Ely

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1069

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Chapel Street, Ely as lies between numbers 28 and 50.

The alternative route for vehicles is via B1382 - B1411 and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate meter exchange and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 11 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 10 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs 11 September 2023.

Downham Common, Little Downham

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1070

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Downham Common, Little Downham as lies between Downham byway 36 and Main Drove.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Furlong Drove - Pymoor Lane, Pymoor - B1411 - Pymoor Common - Mill Hill, Little Downham - B1411 -Main Street - Lawn Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway improvements and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 25 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 24 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 25 September to 26 September 2023.

Hasse Road, Soham

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1071

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hasse Road, Soham as lies between Great Fen Road and Soham Footpath 118.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Northfield Road - A142 and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 September and 6 September 2023.

Main Street, Prickwillow

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1072

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Main Street, Prickwillow as lies between numbers 2 and 24.

The alternative route for vehicles is via B1411 - A10 - A1101 - and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water supply and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 11 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 10 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11 September and 13 September 2023.

New Road, Littleport

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1074

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along New Road, Littleport as lies between number 13 and Mow Fen Road.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Camel Road (C132) - Ponts Hill and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 September and 6 September 2023.

The Row, Sutton

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1075

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Row, Sutton as lies between numbers 118 and 128.

The alternative route for vehicles is via West Lodge Lane - B1381 and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new electrical connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 27 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 26 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 27 September and 3 October 2023.

Victoria Street, Littleport

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1080

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Victoria Street, Littleport as lies between White Hart Lane and Granby Street.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Granby Street - Station Road - Lynn Road - A10 - New River Bank and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate pole replacement and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 11 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 10 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 11 September 2023.

Wellington Street, Littleport

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1081

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Wellington Street, Littleport as lies between Globe Lane and Granary Lane.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Wisbech Road - Camel Road (C132) - A10 - Lynn Road - Station Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate communication pipe repair and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 12 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 11 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 12 September and 14 September 2023.

Whitecross Road, Wilburton

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1082

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Whitecross Road, Wilburton as lies between White Cross Farm and Fen View.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Stretham Station Road - Broad Baulk, Stretham - A10 - A1123 - Station Road, Wilburton and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 12 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 11 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 12 September and 14 September 2023.

Townsend, Ely

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1087

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Townsend, Ely as lies between Holmes Lane and Cloverdale Drive.

The alternative route for vehicles is via The Shade - A142 - Fordham Road - Sand Street - High Street - Churchgate Street - Pratt Street - Hall Street - Townsend and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new connection works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 19 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 18 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 19 September and 21 September 2023.

Newmarket Road, Burwell

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023/1090

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Newmarket Road, Burwell as lies between the B1103 and the B1102.

The alternative route for vehicles is via B1102 - A142 - B1103 and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of new junction and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 18 September 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 17 March 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 18 September and 25 September 2023.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders.

The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
