(SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 109) ORDER 2021
HALIFAX ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD (30MPH SPEED LIMIT)
The Council of the Borough of Kirklees has made the above Order under their powers in the Road Traffc Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which, as it affects roads in the Huddersfeld area in the Kirklees district, will be to:
• Impose a 30mph speed limit on Halifax Road, Huddersfeld from a point 85 metres southeast of the junction with Birkby Road north-westwards for a distance of 1,020 metres
This Order was made on 16 August 2023 and will take effect on 29 August 2023.
A copy of this Order, together with the plan showing the affected
lengths of road and a detailed statement of reasons for making the Order may be examined at:-

Any person wishing to challenge the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffc Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirements of that, or of any instrument made under it, have not been complied with may apply to the High Court within six weeks following 29 August 2023.
