What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PILHOUGH LANE, STANTON IN PEAK)
(30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that, on the 17th of August 2023 the Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on the 28th of August 2023. The effect of which will be in respects of roads in the District of the Derbyshire Dales, that no person shall drive any motor vehicle at speeds exceeding 30 miles per hour on the following lengths of road:
30MPH SPEED LIMIT
Pilhough Lane
From its junction with Main Road in a north westerly direction to a point 87 metres north-west of its junction with The Green.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Councils principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street, DE4 3AG in Matlock during opening hours and on request by emailing Place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 28th September 2023.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 17th August 2023 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
