What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.51, CROMFORD
WHEN: 11th September 2023 to 30th November 2023.
WHERE: Close public footpath No.51 from Lea Road for approximately 130 meters.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during footbridge maintenance.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the closure on Lea Road travel West and enter High Peak Junction car park. The path out of the car park will take you across the Severn Trent bridge and will join public footpath No.51 after the closure. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190.
