U107 Golf Course Road - Temporary Road Closure

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U107 Golf Course Road Berwick upon Tweed from its point from the Bowling Green Car Park heading in a southerly direction for a length of 114 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th September 2023 until the 15th September 2023
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 11th September 2023 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00, the order will remain in place until 15th September 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Golf Course Road, Golf Course Access Road, Northumberland Avenue, Castlegate, A1167, Walkergate, Church Street, Parade and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Hatton TM to carry out a survey of an archway of a historic property. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
