C57 EAST ORD MAIN ROAD THROUGH VILLAGE EAST ORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C57 East Ord Main Road Through Village from its junction with the C7 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 423 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th August 2023 until the 31st January 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th September 2023 until the 8th September 2023 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C57, A1, A698 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
