What is happening?

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS VARIOUS ROADS (SWAN LANE), COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will prohibit waiting, loading and unloading, entering or proceeding of any vehicle on the entire lengths of road specified in The Schedule below when prescribed signs are displayed. The roads will be closed or restricted on a number of occasions for the various durations. The Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on 25th August 2023 and is required for footway resurfacing, surface treatments, verge schemes and associated works to be undertaken safely.

Diversion routes will be sign posted where appropriate and access to premises maintained wherever possible except when works is directly in front of a property. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is envisaged that the works will be completed by 31st March 2024.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of said works;
(b) emergency service vehicles;
(c) and persons requiring reasonable vehicular access or egress to properties on the closed section of the road

SWAN LANE, ST ELIZABETH ROAD, CLAY LANE, HUMBER AVENUE, BENNETTS ROAD NORTH, HOULDSWORTH CRESCENT, QUILLETTS CLOSE

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS OAK LANE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Oak Lane from its junction with Brick Hill Lane, fronting house number 21.

The Order will come into effect from 09.30 hours on Thursday 31st August 2023 and is required for fibre overhead cabling works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 16.00 hours on Thursday 31st August 2023.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works

(d) local vehicular access to Oak Lane

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FRISBY ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Frisby Road in both directions between its junctions between Falstaff Road and its junction with Howlette Road.

The Order will come into effect from 08.00 hours on Wednesday 30th August 2023 and is required for water network utility works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 17.00 hours on Tuesday 5th September 2023.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works

(d) local vehicular access to Frisby Road.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Stoneleigh Avenue in both directions between its junction with Beechwood Avenue to its junction with Southleigh Avenue.

The Order will come into effect from 08.00 hours on Tuesday 29th August 2023 and is required for water network utility works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 17.00 hours on Wednesday 13th September 2023.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS EARLSDON STREET MARKET

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading, or unloading, entering, or proceeding along Earlsdon Street between its junctions with Providence Street and Earlsdon Avenue South Roundabout.

The Order will be in effect from 06:00 hours until 20.00 hours on Sunday 27th August 2023 and is required to enable Earlsdon Street Market to take place safely.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS WREN STREET

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Wren Street, the junction between King Richard Street and Britannia Street.

The Order would come into effect from 8.00 on Tuesday 29th August 2023 required to enable Pipe Renewal works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Thursday 31st August 2023.

Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to the closed section Wren Street.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on St Martins Road Service Road junction with Oxley Drive.

The Order would come into effect from 9.30 on Monday 28th August 2023 is required to enable ducting works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 17.00 on Wednesday 30th August 2023.

Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to the closed section St Martins Road Service Road/Oxley Drive.

The roads would be closed or restricted on a number of occasions for the various durations. The Order would come into effect at 07:00 hours on 6th September 2023 and is required for pothole repairs and associated works to be undertaken safely.

Diversion routes would be sign posted where appropriate and access to premises maintained wherever possible except when works is directly in front of a property. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Binley Road between its junctions with Princethorpe Way to its junction with Brinklow Road.

The Order would come into effect from 07.00 hours on Wednesday 6th September 2023 and is required for cycleway installation and associated works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 19th September 2023

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along East Avenue from its junction with North Avenue to its junction with Central Avenue.

The Order would come into effect from 08.00 hours on Monday 4th September 2023 and is required for vegetation works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 16.00 hours on Tuesday 5th September 2023.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Westhill Road fronting Christ the King Church at its junction with Courtland Avenue.

The Order would come into effect from 08.00 hours on Wednesday 6th September 2023 and is required for manhole cover repair works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 6th September 2023

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:

The Order would come into effect from 08.00 hours on Monday 4th September 2023 and is required to enable water network utility works to be undertaken safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 17.00 hours on Tuesday 19th September 2023.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
