TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC HERTFORD 54

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders, cyclists and vehicles from using that length of Byway Open to All Traffic Hertford 54, heading southwest from junction with Horns Road, for an approximate distance of 250m.

Alternative Route: no suitable alternative

The purpose of the Order is to enable maintenance works to take place.

The section of Byway Open to All Traffic Hertford 54 will be closed on or after 14 September 2023 for up to 1 week, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN GAULDIE WAY, STANDON) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gauldie Way, Standon from its junction with South Road south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 343m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via South Road, Aston Road and Stanelow Crescent.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HERTFORD, HODDESDON, CHESHUNT, BISHOPS STORTFORD, WARE AND WALTHAM CROSS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Cecil Road, Hertford from its junction with Horns Mill Road south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of Whitley Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Stanstead Road north eastwards to its junction with Old Highway, a distance of approximately 470m.

An alternative route will be via Stanstead Road, Murchison Road and Old Highway.

3. that length of Keynton Close, Hertford from its junction with Bentley Road north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

4. that length of Cunningham Road, Cheshunt from its junction with B176 High Street south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Wavell Close, a distance of approximately 346m.

An alternative route will be via B176 High Street, Mill Lane and Wavell Close.

5. that length of Clement Road, Cheshunt from its junction with Cunningham Road south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

6. that length of Wycliffe Close, Cheshunt from its junction with B176 High Street south eastwards for a distance of approximately 81m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7. that length of Thorn Grove, Bishops Stortford from its junction with A1060 Hallingbury Road north eastwards to its junction with Pine Grove, a distance of approximately 217m.

An alternative route will be via A1060 Hallingbury Road, Crescent Road, Avenue Road and Pine Grove.

8. that length of Oaktree Close, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Portland Road north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

9. that length of Wallers Way, Hoddesdon from its junction with Tunfield Road north eastwards, northwards, eastwards and northwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

10. that length of Roselands Avenue, Hoddesdon from its junction with College Road north eastwards to its junction with Morice Road, a distance of approximately 262m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

11. that length of Quincey Road, Ware from its junction with Wheatsheaf Drive north eastwards and eastwards to its junction with A1170 Wadesmill Road, a distance of approximately 623m.

An alternative route will be via Wulfrath Way, B1001 Watton Road and A1170 (Baldock Street/Wadesmill Road).

12. that length of Parker Avenue, Hertford from its junction with New Road north eastwards to its junction with Revels Road, a distance of approximately 272m.

An alternative route will be via New Road and Revels Road.

13. that length of Lodge Crescent, Waltham Cross from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.14A Lodge Crescent anticlockwise for a distance of approximately 340m.

An alternative route will be via Lodge Crescent.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SPELLBROOK LANE EAST, SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Spellbrook Lane East, Sawbridgeworth from a point 212m north east of its junction with A1184 London Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 60m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Spellbrook Lane East, A1184 London Road, B1383 (Thorley Street/London Road), A1060 (Hallingbury Road/Latchmore Bank), Dell Lane and Spellbrook Lane East.

The Order is needed because level crossing works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS FOOTPATHS IN HODDESDON) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footpath (“the Footpaths”):-

1. the footpath situated between No.47 and No.49 Caxton Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Caxton Road south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 154m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south and west sides of Caxton Road and the footpath situated between No.7 and No.9 Caxton Road.

2. the footpath situated on the north side of No.46 Ranworth Avenue, Hoddesdon from a point in line with the western boundary of No.46 Ranworth Avenue north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 37m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the east side of Ranworth Avenue, the footpath situated on the east side of No.102 Ranworth Avenue, the footway situated on the east and south sides of Caxton Way, the footpath situated between No.7 and No.9 Caxton Road and the footpath situated between No.47 and No.49 Caxton Road.

3. the footpath situated on the south side of No.84 Ranworth Avenue, Hoddesdon from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.84 Ranworth Avenue south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards to a point in line with the northern boundary of No.46 Ranworth Avenue, a distance of approximately 49m.

An alternative route will be via the footpath situated between No.47 and No.49 Caxton Road, the footpath situated between No.7 and No.9 Caxton Road, the footway situated on the south and east sides of Caxton Way, the footpath situated on the east side of No.102 Ranworth Avenue and the footway situated on the east side of Ranworth Avenue.

4. the footpath situated between No.7 and No.9 Caxton Road, Hoddesdon from a point in line with the western boundary of No.9 Caxton Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 31m.

An alternative route will be via the footpath situated between No.47 and No.49 Caxton Road and the footway situated on the south and west sides of Caxton Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpaths.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 September 2023 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpaths.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON QUEENS ROAD, WALTHAM CROSS) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Queens Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with York Road north westwards to a point in line with the western boundary of No.56 Queens Road, a distance of approximately 35m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via York Road, King Edward Road and Queens Road.

ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on Queens Road, Waltham Cross from a point in line with the western boundary of No.74 Queens Road south eastwards to its junction with York Road, a distance of approximately 61m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON KNIGHT STREET, SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of road (“the lengths of Road” will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Road:-

a) that length of Knight Street, Sawbridgeworth from a point 17m south west of its westernmost junction with Station Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 15m.

An alternative route will be via Knight Street, Station Road and Knight Street.

b) that length of Knight Street, Sawbridgeworth from a point 17m south west of its easternmost junction with Station Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 15m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding along that length of Knight Street, Sawbridgeworth from its easternmost junction with Station Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 60m other than in a southerly direction only, when signs are in place.

An alternative route will be via Knight Street and Station Road.

The Order is needed because the erection of scaffolding is proposed to be executed near the lengths of Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 September 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Orchard Road, Tewin from its junction with Tewin Public Footpath No.034 north westwards for a distance of approximately 49m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Orchard Road, Upper Green, Upper Green Road, Lower Green, School Lane, Churchfield Road, B1000 Hertford Road, Hertford Road, Harmer Green Lane, New Road, Harmer Green Lane and Orchard Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the northbound carriageway of A1010 High Street, Waltham Cross from a point 10m south west of its junction with Lodge Crescent north eastwards to its junction with Lodge Crescent, a distance of approximately 10m.

An alternative route will be via A1010 High Street, the service road fronting Nos.3-21 High Street, the service road fronting Nos.21-71 High Street and High Street.

2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from Lodge Crescent into the northbound carriageway of A1010 High Street, Waltham Cross, when signs are in place.

An alternative route will be via the service road fronting Nos.21-71 High Street and High Street.

3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from A1010 High Street into Lodge Crescent, Waltham Cross, when signs are in place.

An alternative route will be via A1010 High Street and the service road fronting Nos.3-21 High Street.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

1. that length of Frogs Hall Lane, Standon from its junction with 3U136 (unnamed road) south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with A120 Stortford Road, a distance of approximately 611m.

An alternative route will be via 3U136 (unnamed road), A120 Stortford Road, High Street, Hadham Road, 3U40 (unnamed road) and 3U136 (unnamed road).

2. that length of 3U136 (unnamed road), Wellpond Green from its junction with 3U40 (unnamed road) north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Broken Green Lane, a distance of approximately 452m. An alternative route will be via 3U40 (unnamed road), Hadham Road, High Street, A120 Stortford Road and 3U136 (unnamed road).

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads:-

a) that length of A121 (Eleanor Cross Road/Station Road), Waltham Cross from its junction with the A1010 Monarchs Way roundabout south eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1222m.

An alternative route will be via A1010 (Monarchs Way/High Street/Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/Station Road).

b) that length of Trust Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with York Road south eastwards to its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road, a distance of approximately 133m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles whilst the event takes place. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the event.

c) that length of York Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with Queens Road southwards to its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road, a distance of approximately 56m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

4. that length of Cunningham Road, Cheshunt from its junction with B176 High Street south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Wavell Close, a distance of approximately 346m.

An alternative route will be via B176 High Street, Mill Lane and Wavell Close.

8. that length of Oaktree Close, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Portland Road north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

9. that length of Wallers Way, Hoddesdon from its junction with Tunfield Road north eastwards, northwards, eastwards and northwards for its entire length.

12. that length of Parker Avenue, Hertford from its junction with New Road north eastwards to its junction with Revels Road, a distance of approximately 272m.

An alternative route will be via New Road and Revels Road.

13. that length of Lodge Crescent, Waltham Cross from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.14A Lodge Crescent anticlockwise for a distance of approximately 340m.

An alternative route will be via Lodge Crescent.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footpath (“the Footpaths”):-

1. the footpath situated between No.47 and No.49 Caxton Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Caxton Road south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 154m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south and west sides of Caxton Road and the footpath situated between No.7 and No.9 Caxton Road.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the east side of Ranworth Avenue, the footpath situated on the east side of No.102 Ranworth Avenue, the footway situated on the east and south sides of Caxton Way, the footpath situated between No.7 and No.9 Caxton Road and the footpath situated between No.47 and No.49 Caxton Road.

3. the footpath situated on the south side of No.84 Ranworth Avenue, Hoddesdon from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.84 Ranworth Avenue south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards to a point in line with the northern boundary of No.46 Ranworth Avenue, a distance of approximately 49m.

An alternative route will be via the footpath situated between No.47 and No.49 Caxton Road, the footpath situated between No.7 and No.9 Caxton Road, the footway situated on the south and east sides of Caxton Way, the footpath situated on the east side of No.102 Ranworth Avenue and the footway situated on the east side of Ranworth Avenue.

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Road:-

a) that length of Knight Street, Sawbridgeworth from a point 17m south west of its westernmost junction with Station Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 15m.

An alternative route will be via Knight Street, Station Road and Knight Street.

b) that length of Knight Street, Sawbridgeworth from a point 17m south west of its easternmost junction with Station Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 15m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding along that length of Knight Street, Sawbridgeworth from its easternmost junction with Station Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 60m other than in a southerly direction only, when signs are in place.

An alternative route will be via Knight Street and Station Road.

The Order is needed because the erection of scaffolding is proposed to be executed near the lengths of Road.

a) that length of A121 (Eleanor Cross Road/Station Road), Waltham Cross from its junction with the A1010 Monarchs Way roundabout south eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1222m.

An alternative route will be via A1010 (Monarchs Way/High Street/Hertford Road), A1055 Mollison Avenue, A110 Lea Valley Road, A112 Sewardstone Road and A121 (Meridian Way/Station Road).

b) that length of Trust Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with York Road south eastwards to its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road, a distance of approximately 133m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles whilst the event takes place. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the event.

c) that length of York Road, Waltham Cross from its junction with Queens Road southwards to its junction with A121 Eleanor Cross Road, a distance of approximately 56m.
