Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Aston, Back Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 21 August 2023 Coming into force: 4 September 2023 This Order is being introduced because of the installation of a new electrical supply which is now anticipated to be completed on 22 September 2023 due to collaborative works. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of Back Lane between Ferndale and Home Farm Cottages. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Ducklington, Aston Road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 21 August 2023 Coming into force: 4 September 2023 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway strengthening works and drainage improvement which are anticipated to be completed 13 October 2023. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the section of Aston Road between the junction with the A415 Ducklington and the Yelford Lane crossroads. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A415 Standlake Road, west onto the B4449 at Brighthampton, to Aston village and North Street, or vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T12282/RAG)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kingham, Cornwell, unnamed road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 21 August 2023 Coming into force: 4 September 2023 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway strengthening and drainage works which are anticipated to be completed on 29 September 2023. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in part of the length of the unnamed road between Cornwell Crossroads and Kingham Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via the Kingham Rd/Daylesford Road, through Daylesford village, to turn east along the A436, to turn east at the Adlestrop junction, returning towards Cornwell, and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T12285/RAG)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kingham, B4450 Station Road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 22 May 2023 Works continue: 11 September 2023 This Order was introduced in May 2023 for carriageway resurfacing and improvements and some work was undertaken. Further work involving resurfacing, white lining, gully cleaning and post civils work is required and anticipated to be completed on 6 October 2023. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the B4450 Station Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) & (2) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Eynsham, Back Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 21 August 2023 Coming into force: 28 August 2023 This Order follows on from an emergency closure on 8 August introduced because of repairs to collapsing sewer which is anticipated to be completed 11 December 2023. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the southernmost part of Back Lane. Appropriate traffic signs are displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for
the works and for access to premises which are only
accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative
route for traffic is signed locally.
