NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(KIRKBY IN ASHFIELD FOOTPATH NO. 16) CREATION ORDER 2023
On the 16th August 2023 the Nottinghamshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to create a footpath commencing from a point, SK 4813 5517 at the junction with north-eastern remainder of Footpath No.16 and proceeding for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a south-westerly direction to a point, SK 4809 5515 at the junction with the southern remainder of Footpath No. 16, as shown on the Order Map.
A copy the Order as confirmed and the Order Map may be seen free of charge at my Office at the address below between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays by prior appointment. Alternatively copies of the Order and Map may be obtained from the address below or by emailing email@example.com .
The Order will also be held on deposit at Kirkby in Ashfield Library, Ashfield
Precinct, 21, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, NG17 7BQ during their normal opening hours until 4th October 2023. The Order came into force on 16th August 2023, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act, as amended, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 23rd August 2023, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
