Springhead Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC SPRINGHEAD LANE, ANLABY COMMON
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Springhead Lane, Anlaby Common outside number 22 commencing 11 September 2023 to allow gas replacement works to be carried out safety.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29 September 2023.
The alternative route for traffc affected by the road closure will be via Hull Road, Anlaby Road, Calvert Lane, Willerby Road, Kingston Road, Gorton Road, Springfeld Way and vice versa.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The road will be closed to all traffc but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians.
