Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2023

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to temporarily introduce a path closure to the section of Public Footpath BA19/25A commencing from ST70235738 and proceeding in a generally S direction for approx 84m to a junction with Sunnyside View at ST70245730.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way; namely the applicant is digging trenching to complete the laying of ducting into Peasedown St John Primary School, to upgrade its heating system. The Order will come into force on 28 August 2023 and will be effective for five days. The restriction may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for one day. The closure will only be effective during the period when signs stating ‘Footpath Closed’ are in place on site and only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

Bath Road – Braysdown Lane – Wellow Lane – Frederick Avenue – Sunnyside View. Vice Versa.
