Marine Drive, Paignton - 20Mph Speed Limit Order

BOROUGH OF TORBAY
(Marine Drive - Paignton) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is hereby given that Torbay Council proposes to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 84 (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act of 1984”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part 111 of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984, the effect of which is to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the section of roads specified in the Schedule to this order and is proposed in order to improve road safety for all road users.

All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be submitted in writing to the address given below and must arrive no later than 13th September 2023 and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
