Roseacre Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(ROSEACRE ROAD, TREALES ROSEACRE AND WHARLES, FYLDE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Order.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Roseacre Road, Treales Roseacre and Wharles from outside the property "The Spinney" for approximately 230 metres in a northerly direction to the property "The Beeches".
2. Nothing in this Order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0830 hours on Monday 4th September 2023 until 1500 hours on Tuesday 5th September 2023 or until completion of the works within this period. Access will be maintained wherever and whenever possible.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:
Lodge Lane – Preston Road – Carrs Green – Higham Side Road – Inskip Road
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow poling works to be carried out by BT Openreach.
