Seascale, Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians Due To Concete Repairs
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO. 426008 IN THE PARISH OF SEASCALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable concrete repairs to the subway soffit to be carried ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along an approx 10 metres section of public footpath no 426008 at Seascale Subway in the parish of Seascale between Grid References 303575 501241 and 303580 501234.
There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians.

The Order will come into operation on 11 September 2023 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 2 weeks.
