(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in Cramlington in the County of Northumberland.
B1505 Sea Villas from its junction with Mayfield Avenue to its junction with Sea View Park for a distance of 255 metres.
B1505 High Pit Road from its junction with Sea View Park to its junction with Clifton Road a distance of 275 metres.
B1505 Klondyke from its junction with Clifton Road heading south for a distance of 290 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 21st August 2023 until the 31st January 2024
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 21st August 2023 until the 27th August 2023 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1505 Sea View Villas To Shankhouse, A189 B1505 Spine Road To Shankhouse Roundabout, Durham Road, Northumbrian Road, Dudley Lane, A1171 Valley Park to Dudley Lane, B1505 Valley Park to Klondyke and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout carriageway resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
