Fairway, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL FAIRWAY, SHIPLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Fairway, Shipley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Fairway from a point outside No. 15 Fairway to a point outside No. 15 Fairway.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Fairway (unaffected section), Grosvenor Road, Fern Hill Road and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 22nd August 2023 2023 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 24th August 2023 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
